KILO TWO BRAVO tells the true story of a platoon on a mission to neutralize a Taliban roadblock in the Kajaki region of Afghanistan. In closing in on the insurgents, the unit find themselves marooned in the middle of a minefield, setting in motion a desperate rescue mission. This excruciatingly tense thriller, tells the story of heroism, courage and survival and depicts one of the most valiant efforts of modern warfare.
British soldiers guarding the Kajaki Dam set out to rescue a three-man team after one of them loses a leg to a landmine.

AmazingThis is an amazing movie - Totally blew my mind with the realism. Emotional roller-coaster with suspense, excitement and edge of the seat tension .... Crazy that it's all about true events. If anyone is reading the reviews as they are on the fence well I would suggest jumping down and watching - Totally worth it! Kilo Two Bravo 🇬🇧An amazingly realistic film, Kilo Two Bravo keeps the viewer on the edge of his/her seat. As mentioned in previous reviews it was a bit difficult to understand the actors' dialogue. However, with this film action certainly speaks louder than words. I have viewed dozens of war films; this one is exceptionally well done and has made my top ten list. 🇬🇧.Score: 5/5
AwfulIf you don't understand "UK" English you won't understand a lick of what they are saying. The story based on true events demands the respect of the fallen and the brave. However this movie is so boring, terribly written, with an agonizing plot that will not invigorate. Simply amazingThis is gripping, intense and doesn't give up. By far one of the best war movies. When you realise at the end it was based on real events its even more devastating. You come away with such respect for soldiers and the terror of war, even when there is no active combat. Think also of the children killed by land mines the world over..Score: 5/5
Stunned.It’s very difficult to watch, much more intense than The Hurt Locker, Full Metal Jacket, Platoon, Thin Red Line etc. And it must be watched. Out of respect, at the least. There is no genre for this, it is extraordinary..Score: 5/5

Incredible storyThis is a tough review to write. i had to turn on closed captioning to understand these guys. the accents, the lingo and military slang were all just impossible to understand. i don’t mind CC because i watch a lot of foreign films, but this would be a drawback for some people. i simply could not have gotten everything i needed to know any other way. that’s the reason for 4 stars instead of 5. if this were a scripted movie, i would have said at several points ‘enough already. this is just too much. how much more horror can these men go through?’ but it’s TRUE. it happened. and these men’s courage and brotherhood, in the most horrible situation you could ever imagine, is just awe inspiring..Score: 4/5

Incoherent accents (to a western Canadian)We got about 20 minutes in before giving up following the story due to the thick British accents. If you are a North American you may have some trouble following the dialogue. It’s too bad because the film itself was pretty engaging..Score: 3/5

Needs Subtitles & Gory as HellThe movie I know is done well but it just gets more depressing, grusome and just keeps on going. Although perhaps accurate in terms of what really went on, it perhaps goes a bit too far. Not for anyone with a weak stomach. Also with out subtitles almost impossible to understand. We watched about half but when it just kept getting more and more gory we ended the pain..Score: 3/5

Amazingly simple yet captivating..Though this film is shot in only a few locations, it is amazingly captivating due to the film's stellar ensemble who in turn provide some brilliant acting. This isn't about whether the war in the middle east is good, bad or valid. It's a film about humanity, the power of brotherly bonds and endurance amidst near death experiences. This really caught me by surprise and man, do I ever love it when movies do that.. Well done..Score: 4/5

Very Well done, grippingNot a “typical” war movie. This shows the boredom and terror of the reality of modern conflict. The English dialect can be difficult in bits for someone raised on CNN, but it only adds to the authenticity of the film, and to be fair, most North Americans should not have that hard a time following.
