Such a disappointmentAt first, I was really hyped to see this movie. And the first time I saw it, I thought it was pretty spectacular. I mean, come on, the first Star Wars film in ages to show up in theatres, you can’t help but not get carried away by the hype train. And then I watched it a few more times. And I started to realize something... this is a rehashed Episode 4. A random kid on a desert planet goes on an extraordinary adventure while being pursued by an evil power-hungry military order and a guy in an all black suit with a red laser sword. Gee... where have I seen that before? When a new trilogy was announced I was expecting something totally brand new, and the trailers seemed to confirm that. But what we got was Episode 4 repackaged and modernized. And don’t get me started on The Last Jedi....Dbm 0908Score: 1/5

StupidA stupid script but not a failure because it seems intended. Made only to make money and not to further the art of cinema, like the original did. Would not recommend. How can one person easily destrooy 20 advanced robots/monsters while standing near or even inside an exploding spaceship and not have a scratch and then come across with tacky comic lines?.Peppy197Score: 1/5

By far the worst one yet...Everything about this show was disappointing. Solo's kid was pretty weak. He was nothing more than a little brat & was a very poor villain. Come on the guy was a jedi & he had trouble fighting Fin who had never used a lightsaber before. I don't give too many movies lower than a 3 star but this deserved it. It sets up for the next one to be even worse. The original 3 were 10 times better. Each movie keeps getting worse since the return of the jedi..Viking JoeScore: 2/5

JJ Abrams, you glorious SoB!Wow. I don't even know how to explain how I feel about The Force Awakens. I absolutley loved it. Even though I can see a lot of the paralells between this film and the original trilogy, I don't see that as a bad thing and I think people who do complain that it's too similar to the original trilogy aren't judging it correctly..Capeless BretonScore: 5/5

The search continuesDoesn't find the 1950s comic book appeal of the original Star Wars with its improbable technology, corny plot and endearing characters.
