Bonding over their love of music, three grade schoolers from Brooklyn spend their weekends playing heavy metal/speed punk in Times Square as “Unlocking the Truth." When the band's internet fame explodes and the music industry comes calling, Malcolm, Jarad and Alec feel like anything is possible, but are soon confronted with the realities that come with being rockstars. BREAKING A MONSTER chronicles the first year as the band goes from three kids just playing the music they love, to the very adult world of touring, managers and a $1.8 million record contract – all in pursuit of living out their heavy metal dreams.

Decent but nothing specialYou don't find to many black kids that love metal music. The majority are into hip-hop, rap and anything else close to that genre. Heck, I know a lot of white kids that are into the same type of music so to me music isn't racial. It's practically the only thing that hasn't been made racist but give it time. That said this movie was kinda boring. So they had a video that went viral.......so did the lady with the Chewbacca mask and people went nuts over that crazy woman so why not offer HER a contact of some sorts?? The movie was just lame though it did have some decent acting. I agree with the persons comment that is first on the review list however their grammar is atrocious. It's not "they're video went viral".......it's "THEIR video went viral!" If you are going to bust on someone at least make sure you don't sound like an illiterate fool..Score: 2/5

Boring…& nothing special. I do not see what the hype was all about..Score: 2/5

These Young Men Are Amazing! It's frustrating to see the small handful of reviews seeming to only coming from what appear to be completely cynical people who may even be people who failed in the rock world themnselves and are now just bitter. These young men are immediately charming and entertaining. Their parents are amazing people to support them and stand behind them in the way that they do. They are some of the best examples of parents I've ever seen. The clash of young kids who are eager to reach the heights they know full well they are destined to achieve, while still being young at heart and a bit naive about how the world works, having to clash head on with big business and the way that world works is an interesting culture shock to see play out. Of course, there's no way for some not to end up pulling race into it as well. I think there are many facets to this story that make it very interesting and I think those less cynical among us who connect with these young folk and truly see the obvious young talent still needing to fully bloom will be genuinely excited for them and will hope to see them achieve their dream to the fullest..Score: 5/5

Nothing specialDid not get anything out of this documentary, kids are really too young to have any deep insights talented as they are, the mother and manager are great but not interesing enugh to support a full documentary, was more of a promotional tool..Score: 2/5

Okay...As an adult, I respect and am happy they like metal and play it well. But this was boring, and I would not even consider buying their music. There are local bands out there that sound light years better than these kids. They're video went viral. Okay....next..Score: 2/5

12 Mighty Orphans summary, synopsis, reviews
12 Mighty OrphansSports2021

12 Mighty Orphans tells the true story of the Mighty Mites, the football team of a Fort Worth orphanage who, during the Great Depression, went from playing without shoes—or even a football—to playing for the Texas state championships. Over the course of their winning season these underdogs and their resilient spirit became an inspiration to their city, state, and an entire nation in need of a rebound, even catching the attention of President Franklin D. Roosevelt. The architect of their success was Rusty Russell, a legendary high school coach who shocked his colleagues by giving up a privileged position so he could teach and coach at an orphanage. Few knew Rusty's secret: that he himself was an orphan. Recognizing that his scrawny players couldn't beat the other teams with brawn, Rusty developed innovative strategies that would come to define modern football.

New World Order summary, synopsis, reviews
New World OrderDocumentary2016

New World Order is a behind-the-scenes look at anti-conspiracy activists and the growing underground anti-globalist movement. Filmmakers Luke Meyer and Andrew Neel explore this anti-New World Order movement’s alleged global conspiracy, which focuses on the secretive Bilderberg conference and the 9/11 terror attacks. At the film’s center is Alex Jones (Waking Life and A Scanner Darkly), an impassioned celebrity radio host and underground cult hero, on his ceaseless quest around the country and abroad to expose what he believes is a massive global conspiracy that is threatening the future of humanity. New World Order does not try to prove or disprove conspiracy theories, instead it offers a rare and poignant glimpse into the lives of ordinary people and activists whose lives and actions have been dramatically changed and defined by the power of ideas.

Using the story of the Red Star Line as a narrative vessel, this three-part documentary by Daniël Cattier and Fabio Wuytack explains why European emigrants left their homes behind for an uncertain future. It details their trips to Antwerp, their travel across the ocean, and their adjustments to their new lives in America. Theirs are intimate yet epic journeys in which past and present merge in the forging of new identities. The film, which is shot on location in Antwerp, New York, Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Russia and Ukraine, uses ‘emotional archaeology’ to weave a richer narrative than could be conveyed through a string of facts and figures. And walking in the footsteps of Red Star Line passengers, surprising similarities are revealed to the experiences of modern immigrants.
