Get Out Description

Now that Chris (Daniel Kaluuya, Sicario) and his girlfriend, Rose (Allison Williams, Girls), have reached the meet-the-parents milestone of dating, she invites him for a weekend getaway in her parent’s home upstate. At first, Chris reads the family’s overly accommodating behavior as nervous attempts to deal with their daughter’s interracial relationship, but as the weekend progresses, a series of increasingly disturbing discoveries lead him to a truth that he could have never imagined.

A group of women travel to different destinations around the world to have all sorts of adventures.

I don't get how it has a 99% fresh rating.

This movie is everything it's definitely a must see
  • Self/less remake

In agreement with more of the intelligent reviewers, this cheap thrill is nothing more than a mindless remake of Self/less (2015). Aside from being apalled that it has a 99% Rotten Tomatoes rating, it has a rather ridculous, not so well hidden, suggestion (I'll let you figure that part out: but do so when it is free on Netflix). Don't waste your money.

Calling "Get Out" a horror movie insults George Romero, John Carpenter and Wes Craven. Calling "Get Out" a great movie insults any intelligent human being. This is the worst movie of all time. I won't even mention how overtly racist and degrading to white people this travesty of a film is. The critics that applaud this horrid film are the very definition of hype and fake news. This terribly written movie DOES prove one thing, however.. With just the right amount of fake hype, you can make anybody see a crappy movie.

I love this movie. It's funny, scary, well acted, perfectly cast and has the most satisfying ending I've seen in a long time. This movie is an instant classic and will stand the test of time.

The cinematography was good, the acting was good, the dialogue was good. It made me laugh, it creeped me out, it made me want to reach through the screen and slap some sense into the main character, and the ending didn't leave me feeling sick, cheated or otherwise disappointed. All in all, that's more than I can say for any M. Night Shamalanabingbong movie. If you want to get some social commentary out of this flick, or feel the need to read into it for some deeper meaning or message, I guess that's your prerogative 😆 but if you just take it as a movie meant to entertain you for a couple hours, I'd say it works. For the record, you should get those "deep messages" out of things you see in day-to-day life or real stories you might read in an article or watch on the news. You really don't have to look far. To those who were offended by this movie and felt the need to write a review just to claim it is racist and/or liberal propaganda: Thank you, your comments were the collective comedic cherry on top! Honestly! Some of these reviews made me laugh harder than the comic relief TSA character.
