Very impressive remixGenerally I find "re-boots / remixes" of such legendary, and oft ingrained stories as the Legend of King Arthur, to be hard to embrace at best. The drastic changes made in The Hobbit and how it left me liking nothing more than the action comes to mind. This version of the story was so well conceived that it fooled even the critics. Indeed, I have begun to maintain that anything with significant depth or possessing an ethical message will be condemned by the critics. Listening to "that lot" will cause you to miss a rather engaging story. Admittedly, it was fast paced and it switched about, back and forth in time, much like a real life book. Perhaps that too caused much confusion for the people tasked to critique it. All said, I give it a strong 4 stars. It wasn't an award winner, but it certainly was compelling. It provided a story of a man's struggle to face his past and accept the need to protect what was important to him. The reasonable progression of the character development held me in place and overshadowed the special affects. That alone should encourage anyone who appreciates tales of fantasy and sorcery to watch this film..Score: 4/5
I think the critics were wrongI had zero expectations going into this film. But I have to say that I really enjoyed it from beginning to end. It is a “Guy Richie” film so be prepared for his style, but the action was fantastic, the special effects were top notch and the sound editing was some of the best I’ve heard (minus Star Wars of course). It’s worth a look!.Score: 5/5

AWESOME!!I like the tale of King Arthur. I have seen several different versions. Its a remake of a fairy tale that has been told countless times. This story has plenty of action and is easy to follow. If I read the reviews only I would have never watched. The movie was good. It focused on an unknown (lost son) pulling the sword from the stone. He unwilling was pulled into a destiny he soon realized was his to take. If you like fighting you got it. If you want a down to earth man of the people you got that as well. Nothing aristocratic about this Arthur..Score: 4/5

Astonishingly badI like GR movies & I generally enjoy watching many blockbuster movies. Sadly, this one had such a terrible plot, such bad acting (especially from the 2 lead characters) that i couldnt get any entertainment from it. The critics all seem to miss the point.The critics seem to be missing the point, and weren't paying attention. King Arthur beautifully demonstrates the battle to hold onto a legitimate government from the forces that will corrupt it. Yes, the movie dives quickly into the action - a massive battle of the forces of evil against the kingdom is chaotic and frenetic, but quickly explained for those who don't realize what's going on. The struggle between good and evil, truth and lies, courage and fear play out on multiple levels - for the individual, and the kingdom. Viewed from this perspective, the metaphor rings true, the story holds your attention, and Richie does something magnificent - shines a fresh and interesting light on a story that has survived centuries because it talks of something real, something that resonates with us. For those who can't adapt to Richie's unique story telling style, they're likely to miss it. Those who enjoy a story that you have to pay attention to are rewarded with the best take on King Arthur so far..Score: 5/5
Incredible in every wayI cannot understand people that hate this movie yet praise the marvel movies. I consider myself a very tough critic, especially when it comes to these action movies since they tend to skip heavily on the smarts and go full on action but this was both and some. You witness the incredible journey he has to go through to fight his demons and become the man he was destined to be. It's so good I want to watch it again, which hasn't happened for years.
