The Incredibles Description

From the Academy Award®-winning creators of Toy Story, Monsters, Inc. and Finding Nemo, comes this hilarious action-packed computer-animated adventure about superheroes. Bob Paar (Craig T. Nelson) used to be one of the world's greatest superheroes (known to all as "Mr. Incredible"), saving lives and fighting evil on a daily basis, but now he's a clock-punching insurance claims adjuster fighting boredom and a bulging waistline. When an unfortunate string of mishaps and frivolous law suits forced all of the legendary crime fighters to hang up their super suits fifteen years ago, Bob and his wife Helen (Holly Hunter), a famous former superhero in her own right, adopted civilian identities and retreated to the suburbs to live normal lives with their three kids. Itching to get back into action, Bob gets his chance when a mysterious communication summons him to a remote island for a top-secret assignment. When he discovers the evil genius Syndrome (Jason Lee) bent on diabolical revenge is behind the mystery, his family flies to the rescue for an extraordinary battle of wits and superpowers. Pixar Animation Studios makes technological advances in portraying human characters and stretches the boundaries of the art form with this stylish and entertaining film.

Incredible Inventions looks at the evolution, manufacturing and everyday use of items that have some unusual origins. With thousands of years of innovations to play with, AHC premieres weekly back-to-back episodes featuring some of our childhood favorites such as the bicycle, and our everyday heroes we take for granted—the wrist watch. From the pocket-sized Swiss Army Knife to the Winglet of an aircraft, no invention is too big or too small to cover.

The Incredibles Movie Reviews

  • The Best Incredibles Movie For The Whole World

Everyone hopes that the sequel would come next year.
  • Worst movie ever

    I hate it
  • Best movie ever.

    Boo you 😥😥😥😥😥
My favorite movie of all time. Watched it a million times already( no joke). And still continue to watch it. I never get sick of it. The movie is amazing and so is the music score.
  • One of Pixar's Best!

I just have a question though, if anyone can answer this. Is this the American version or the Internation version. The international version has some slight subtle difference, but they are different from what I am used to on my DVD at home. I already bought this through Google but if I know this is the American version like the one I have on DVD, then I would consider buying it again here. Plus... iTunes extras. I don't know why Google doesn't have extra features like iTunes does.

  • This is one of my all time favorite movies ever

This movie is great, and fun. I love this movie a lot. I love all of the characters in this movie. Elasta Girl with her able to stretch and flexibility and Violet with her able to be invisible, and disappear, and with her force field are my favorite characters and my favorite super powers ever. It is one of my all time favorite super hero movies ever.
  • The Incredibles

Decent film, it could have been better. There were six major flaws: 1. The best action scenes didn't come in until the very end of the film. 2. The running time of the film is way too long. 3. A lot of talking, hard to understand at times. 4. Downtown Metroville is a rip off of downtown New York. 5. Brad Bird as the voice of the short lady is a forgettable character. 6. The coolest hero, the ice guy has very little screen-time. Extras: Not as good as it used to be, I hate to say that this movie wasn't an instant classic like The Lion King.
  • Incredible movie w/ Incredible message!

This is, by far, my favorite Disney & Pixar movie! This super-incredible film (yes, pun intended) succeeds for reasons more than just entertainment value. It gives a clear message that tells the audience IT IS OKAY TO BE DIFFERENT. The idea of superheroes in this movie choosing to embrace what makes them different can show kids--AND adults, for that matter--that to be different is to be unique. Disney & Pixar, you have done it again!
  • The Incredibles

With a few exceptions(cough cough Cars) Pixar has given us so many animated gems over the years. They continue to outdo themselves on a regular basis, but for me the Incredibles is right up there with Walle, Inside Out, Up, and the Toy Story trilogy as proof of just how much Pixar is capable of.Like the aforementioned Pixar films(and honestly the majority of them, with some exceptions),the Incredibles features everything you could want in a film. The protagonists feel real and are people you can relate to, the animation is beautiful, the jokes and action scenes are awesome, and the message about not hiding what you're capable of is one kids need to learn young. And the " Honey, where is my super suit?" bit still cracks me up every time. Can't wait for Incredibles 2!That's right,it's happening

One of my favorite Pixar movies of all time. The original Pixar movies, like this one, were the best.
