Worth the rentI liked this film for reasons that don't have much to do with horror movies. its a blast from the past. Drew Barrymore is 8 years old, the actors don't have the sun-bleached-skeleton-white teeth of the current generation, and the women aren't all sporting double-D silicone. What a relief! That aside, I agree with the tomatoes (there's a first time for everything)..Score: 4/5
Wonderful horror anthology from the King of Horror!Anthology horror movies are always fun to watch, especially when they are well-made—and no one does them better then fright master Stephen King! The best thing about the first two stories in this trilogy of terror is that they are two of the best stories featured in King’s first short story collection Night Shift. Quitters, Inc. is about a man who tries to quit smoking—and turns to the WRONG people for help! The Ledge is about a man who is forced to accept a millionaire’s potentially deadly wager: If he can make it safely around the ledge encircling the 30th floor of the penthouse where the millionaire lives, he’ll get the man’s fortune—and his wife, the same woman he’s been having an affair with. If the third story has been collected in one of Stephen King’s books, I don’t which book it would be featured in. The first two stories also featured brief appearances by the same cat, a friendly house cat with strange powers. The third story is about what happens when the cat, now called Ginger, finally tracks down Amanda, a little girl who has appeared to him twice in visions. Apparently, it’s up to Ginger to save her from a horrible troll that lives inside her bedroom walls, waiting till she falls asleep at night to steal her breath. This movie is fun and scary, with great special effects, smart plotting, lots of suspense, and amazing acting, particularly from a young Drew Barrymore as Amanda. Watch and enjoy!.Score: 5/5
