What if your own family stood in the way of everything you worked for? Bobby Green (Joaquin Phoenix) has forsaken his name to escape his family and their tradition in law enforcement to pursue his ambitions as a Brooklyn nightclub owner. A well done filmWe Own The Night delivers one of Joaquin Phoenix's best roles he's ever played in a movie as well as Mark Wallburg and Robert Duvall with stealing performances as well. The movie deals with two brothers on opposite sides of the law and when certain events go to far one has to make a decision to make a comitment.
