Absolutely the bestSaw thisd movie years ago, and thought it waas oine of the best horror movies of the time. I am a fan of Richard Carlson, and definitly Julie Adams. Seen it again on TCM some months back, and still consider it one of the best Horror movies of the past. Enjoy it so much, am vbuying the DVD so I can look at it and show my kids what great movies were and not the GARBAGE they put out today..Score: 5/5
An awsome classicWhile some people may consider this cheesy, put this movie into perspective. I mean it is 57 years old for crying out loud! At that time this was the best of the best as far as filming and special effects. The "Creature" was impressive, as the man inside the costume didn't have air to breath' and the acting was good. I enjoyed to no end how no-one saw the "Creature" until the girl screamed. While some-what predictable this is classic horrer/monster at its best..Score: 5/5

ITunes should offer this in 3DThis is one of Universal’s best efforts from that era, but it is supposed to be shown in 3D like when it was first released. For the younger ITunes collectors out there 3D was also big in the fifties! That claw reaching out at the audience was a hoot! Those red blue glasses are easy to get so please offer the superior 3D version. Over time, this has become the Iconic 3D movie and it’s not nearly as much fun without that feature.. 3D please!.Score: 5/5

Creature FeatureThe Creature From The Black Lagoon is fun to watch. It's a really influential film. The monster featured in the film is so iconic and it's always really interesting to see how movies were like in the past. The visual aspect of the film holds up well even today and must have been astounding back then. The story does lack a bit of depth though which results in this being one of the weaker entries in the Universal Horror series..Score: 3/5
