Actually explains what happendThis documentary really explains how everything is connected and explains the run up to how this melt down was possible to happen. And when you GET IT you start to wounder how this industri's main players are allowed to keep their bonuses and not get prosecuted. Very educational, you really should see it. DryThis documentary was extremely dry and dull in its delivery. Rotten Tomatoes have completely lost all credibility.I could not stay awake on this film even after drinking large amounts of strong coffee. Open your eyesTwo thumbs way up on this movie. Worth every penny for this kind of financial education. It makes me feel so sad and disheartened to find so much greed and the effect it has on thousands of lives. What a shame. And to see them squirm in their seats, fighting for words to keep them from disclosing their wrong-doings, the guilt in their spirit says it all, without uttering a word. What is happening in wall street is sad, and in the government, sad. If this doesn't stop, the whole United States of America will be as corrupt as other third-world countries I've ever lived in. I commend the courage of the author of this documentary. Thank you for your encouragement. I know now how to help the next generation think to re-shape this world. Oh, might be a good idea to make this rentable on iTunes. It was still worth the buy, but would be much more accessible if it were rentable..Score: 5/5
Yuck!Those guys make me sick. The fact that at least in the US "before the crisis = after the crisis" is deeply disturbing. Oh and btw, why are those involved i.e. the senior managers in the financial "services" industry all male? The movie is a perfect starting point to learn about the disaster. Best movie to see who stole your government and money.You want to be a patriot of your country? Watch this movie and then recommend it to everyone you know. It is the clearest easy to understand series of explanations of how our government is infiltrated/corrupted by the out of control banking/finance industries. These bad reviews of the movie will try to hide the deceptions of the finance industry, through convoluted mumbo jumbo. Former Obama supporter Damon takes Obama to task for rolling over to these cocaine cowboys as his administration has not prosecuted any of these thieves. The film then goes on to expose how most of the top advisors come from Goldman Sachs, and other out of control gambling enterprises. Sadly our former top universities are now corrupted by these same institutions as professors are paid to provide testimony to get these finance criminals off the hook when they do get in trouble. We are talking Harvard, Columbia, Brown and many more. You want your country back? Start here and educate yourself of how out of control our government has been corrupted to the bone over the last 30 years. I thought I knew alot about the depth of corruption within the finance industry, but when you see how these guys are spending billions on hookers and drugs and then writing it off as a business deduction (With NO prosecution by the government for fraud !) You will know that there are two sets of rules for the thieves and another set for you an your family..Score: 5/5
