Ugh! Drivel.I don't understand how such a great cast can deliver such an awful movie. I only gave it 2 instead of 1 because of the cast. Julia bla bla dry fuss was terrible! Such a complex film.Loved it right from the start. I was so engrossed that the end came before I knew it. James Gandolfini and Julia Louise-Dryfus were superb. Their characters were very real and very flawed, just as we all are in our day to day lives. Fear of being hurt can sometimes make us do the craziest things and it's true love that understands that and accepts us for everything that we are. Such an uplifting movie. Sorry but ...I didn’t like this movie because the central character is not someone I view as sympathetic: she’s just a terrible person - to her ex-husband, her daughter, and her friends both old and new. This is a story that also had no redeeming qualities. It just show this woman being un-mindful, hurting the people who love her. Sorry but I don’t really have anything nice to say about this movie. Disappointing!I have always been a fan of Dreyfus, but found her reaching in her performance in this movie. Though the premise of the movie seemed interesting, the actors did not seem to have real chemistry and seemed uncomfortable with their lines. Absobloodylutely brilliantLet’s just say that this film makes me want to meet my own Albert, and to have the type of chemistry that he has with Eva, will I be ever so lucky. Gandolfini’s performance is so warm and tender and funny and, yes, sexy, and Louis-Dreyfus does what she does best—be funny—but with added dramatic tones, the perfect balance for her, and the perfect combination for both. I saw it on the 7th hour of a 9-hour plane ride and, having never seen Gandolfini in The Soprano’s, I was curious to see his acting knowing that he had already passed away. When the kitchen scene happens, I almost lost it, right there in the plane, because that line he delivers, that crucial line, was so perfect that I didn’t know whether I wanted to cry because of its honesty or because we will never see Gandolfini deliver a line like that again… Must see..Score: 5/5
