Aloha Movie Reviews

  • Love it!

All of this movie is to like!
  • Really sweet..worth watching

I have no idea why this movie is so poorly rated. It's a sweet, funny, subtle film. The acting is gentle and performances strong. Maybe I was just in the mood for something just like it, but if you're in the mood to settle in for a sweet, funny and quirky movie, I think you'll enjoy it.
  • Good bye Aloha

is not the worst movie I ever saw but you may like to spend your money in a better way. Its inconsistencies and lightness make this film boring experience full of common places and utterly idiotic
  • What was that?!?!

    What a terrible movie.
  • So cute!!

    Refresh it
Love this movie. Cute romantic comedy
  • Avoid at all costs.

Aside from the idiotic casting choice with Emma Stone as a "Chinese" and "native Hawaiian", this movie had a plot that is 90% nonexistent and 10% absurd sci-fi. Throw in some nonsensical tech terms (like space sound transduction) and 1-dimensional characters, and you have a perfect waste of $12.99.
  • I enjoyed it!

This is a great feel good movie.
  • lol what was the point of this movie?

honestly i had absolutely no idea what was going on in the film. Something about an ex-girlfriend married to Jim from the office and a satellite in Hawaii? the only thing i like was emma stone. she played her character well and showed off her acting talents. good actors+ bad script=bad movie.
  • Kooky, but less painful if it could be rented...

Yes, this is a pretty crazy, kooky film. Uneven scripting and direction unfortunately compromises the best efforts of an all-star cast. And yet… I wish they would make this available for rental. For the cost of a rental, it is actually not an entirely unpleasant way to spend a few hours. Especially with the sweet soundtrack, beautiful scenery and actually earnest performances. Maybe iTunes and Sony will some day change their minds...
  • Great story & characters

Best use of quiet moments & nonverbal communication. The reflection of real life relationship issues mixed with love & family. Hawaii is a lead character... Simply beautiful
