A Severe Ping-pong in tone after relativity.The first three or four episodes are excellent at laying the groundwork of his life and struggles but from the middle to the end the tone from science to politics changes give viewer-whiplash. Yes there were issues with JE Hoover and his struggle with creating a unified theory but instead the three last episodes they could have been combined into one. I guess to sum this review: the producers may have assumed that viewers would be familiar with the Isaacson biography..Score: 2/5

Worth watchingThe young Albert Einstein looked too much like Charlie Chaplin at first, with a bad German accent, which was throughout disconcerting, but at the seventh episode, finally, Geoffrey Rush shows up to save the day as the older Einstein, along with an equally impressive Emily Watson as Elsa, his second wife, enough to make the whole thing entirely worth watching, a worthy tribute to a great man.Score: 4/5

Brillant but where's the rest of it?It's a great series, the casting if fantastic, the acting superb and the presentation of the subject provides the audience a real feel for Einstein the man and the times that he lived in. My only gripe is where the rest of it is? As of the 8th June iTunes has up to episode 5 while other vendors also have episodes 6 and 7 available..Score: 5/5

Episode 6I have been in contacted with Apple Customer Service re Episode 6 for the last 2 weeks or so, and while they have been very courteous and helpful, I have been told that their Engineering Dept say Episode 6 will not be available in the UK until the end of June due to a copyright/rights issue. Frankly, I think this makes no sense. Why would one episode in the middle of the run be unavailable due to copyright when all others have been uploaded to the series pass? Incidentally, all episodes are currently available on Amazon UK...including Ep 6! I have e-mailed National Geographic TV in an attempt to clarify this issue. Pretty poor showing here from iTunes, which ordinarily is excellent! Looks like Amazon Video might be a better bet from now on if you want to buy a TV Series Pass in the UK..Score: 1/5
