The fleet only has enough Tylium Fuel to make a few more jumps, so Commander Adama sends a search party to nearby star systems. Sharon and Crashdown return with good news and bad. They've found huge tylium deposits on an asteroid just one jump away, but there is a Cylon base there, with hundreds of Raiders guarding the fuel. Adama insists that while they know where the Cylons are, the Cylons don’t know where Galactica is. He wants to take the fight to the enemy. It’s a big gamble: if they win, they'll have all the fuel they need; if they lose, the entire human race will perish..

Perhaps the best..Perhaps the best television series of all-time. The writers of this show are simply incredible. You do not even have to like science fiction to enjoy this series. It has something for everybody. The acting is superb, the music is flawless and the story comes together amazingly. I never watched it while it was on television. I thought it would be cheesy. It wasn’t until my friend made me watch his dvds that I realized how wrong I was for not watching it originally. The very first episode will have you HOOKED. I realize there have been a lot of incredibly written tv shows. Breaking Bad, The Wire, Sopranos, Dexter, etc. However, Battlestar Galactica is the best in my opinion. Do yourself a favor, if you haven’t watched it yet, just watch the first episode. It will change your life!.Score: 5/5

Best show on televisionI passed on watching this show for two years thinking of it as a joke and another sci-fi TV show, and it far surpasses any show that I have recently seen. Everything that makes a great show is here, and the music is a journey all the way through the entire season. This is one show not to miss, especially the first season. Be prepared for hours of mysteries, drama, shock, awe, and intense action. And looking at the best episodes in retrospect, 33, Flesh and Bone, The Hand of God, and Kobol's Last Gleaming 1 & 2 are not to be missed!!!.Score: 5/5

Amazing - For all Stargate - Star Trek FansIt is really good - but I am interrested in purchasing the rest of the seasons. After a little research I found out that there are missing episodes. ie: Season 2.5 and 4.5 - the "Webisodes" - I see that you have them for sanctuary??? but not BSG? Mini-series came first!Ok I see reviews giving a low rating because it makes no sense in the beginning and thinking they missed some episodes. You did. This started as a mini-series which was then made into a proper series starting with season 1. The mini-series introduces everything and makes it make waaay more sense. Frakking Awesome!I have watched this show about 4 times now if not more, I have met a bunch of the cast at cons and I still love it. There is nothing else out there that can replace it for me. The layers of interactions, the ethical dilemmas and though provoking nature of the plot will hook you! fabulously acted and written. If you haven't watched this show, do yourself a favour and do it. Modern day classicOne of the best TV series to be made. The only tv drama that I've ever watched through more than once. You don't have to be a fan of SCI-FI to enjoy this, there are no aliens, no teleorter-dimension jumping and no time travel events. Best In ClassDon't let the spaceships or the camp original get to you, Battlestar Galactica could quite possibly be one of the best dramas ever made ever. Manages to be topical, interesting and realistic, even if it deals in science fiction and some fantastical themes throughout. Some people felt the later episodes lost focus, but hang in to the end and it'll be worth it and some of the most rewarding tv around. Such a great story. I skipped the mini series and just started with episode 1, 33. I learnt the characters and themes through the show, and only went back to the mini series as a filler after series 2. Recommend that, the mini series isn't a great introduction, ironically..Score: 5/5
