With Commander Adama (Edward James Olmos) fighting for his life after being shot by the Cylon infiltrator Sharon, and President Roslin (Mary McDonnell) languishing in the Galactica's brig after losing the power struggle with Adama, Colonel Tigh (Michael Hogan) is thrust into the unfamiliar role of the sole leader in a time of crisis. The situation worsens quickly. First, Tigh sends Lee (Jamie Bamber) to the brig for siding with Roslin against Commander Adama. Then an emergency jump to escape an incoming Cylon force goes wrong, leaving Galactica alone in space, separated from the rest of the fleet - and from the medical help needed to save Adama's life. As Tigh struggles to come to terms with this crisis, he thinks back on his relationship with Adama, who saved him from oblivion and from his own fierce temper, and tries to tap into some of the wisdom that his old friend offered him. It soon becomes clear that to reconnect with the fleet, Galactica must jump back into danger over Kobol and network its computers, a highly risky move that will make the ship vulnerable to attack from both the Cylon fighters and their crippling computer viruses. Meanwhile, on the surface of Kobol, Chief Tyrol (Aaron Douglas) and the rest of the downed Raptor crew fight for their lives against an unseen enemy while Vice President Baltar (James Callis) seeks solace in his visions of Number Six (Tricia Helfer), only to find those visions turn dark and haunting. Light-years away, on Cylon-occupied Caprica, Kara (Katee Sackhoff) and Helo (Tahmoh Penikett) must find some way to bring the Arrow of Apollo back to the fleet - but first they have to get it back from the avatar of Number Six who has found it in the Delphi Museum..

Halfway through the season and better than everAs a huge science fiction fan, I can report that the new Battlestar Galactica is the be all and end all. From the gritty special effects to the excellent acting and writing, the fact that a science fiction presentation can be so engrossing on a 2 1/2" screen speaks volumes. The show is intelligently written and presented and assumes that the viewer is intelligent as well; the show never talks down to the audience. You actually believe that these worlds were destroyed and that these are desperate people; they even have a difficult to satisfy press. And Richard Hatch is redeemed! It is great fun to watch the former "Apollo" plot and scheme. If Season 4 really is the last season, we better start savoring the remaining episodes, because this kind of quality is a truly rare occurrence..Score: 5/5

IT keeps getting better!!This is my favorite show on television. The depth of the character development and the small seeds that are planted in season 1 that take root in this season are briliantly planned. Everyone that I have let borrow season 1 gets hooked. Season 3 is the even better than this season, and season 4...wow. Can't wait until jan when it starts back up..Score: 5/5

So Say We AllNo one, who has seen the show, cannot deny that this program is possibly one of the best out there. BSG exceeds the expectations of Sci-Fi fans, as well as any TV viewer. Battlestar Galactica showcases all of the qualities where many TV programs fall short. They manage to encompass science fiction elements with compelling drama and human emotion. The show is entertaining on numerous levels varying from epic battles, humorous pilot banter, to sexy vixen Cylons. I have only met one person who dislikes this program, and believe me--his credibility is zilch, and his friend count decreases on a daily basis. How has this show never been nominated for any Emmys? Please enjoy. You will not be dissapointed..Score: 5/5
