Star Butterfly is a StarStar vs. the Forces of Evil looks like another Disney hit. The true “star” of this show are the character designers and animators who give Star Butterfly her hyper-personality. The character is drawn very expressively and her face gives off every emotion she is feeling. Also, big credit to the voice of Star, Eden Sher, for giving the character life. I’ve never seen a cartoon so utterly dependent on the title character for its bread and butter. That’s not to say that the rest of the show or characters don’t hold their own, though. Star’s partner in crime, Marco (Adam McArthur), does an admirable job trying to keep up with her and the show’s humor is goofy and surreal at times. All and all, a great show so far..Score: 5/5
