About time we had a female superhero showSeriously, don’t listen to the hateful comments. This show has some much more depth to it than you originally believe. At first you get the goofy, happy-go-lucky Kara Danvers who stumbles her way through her first few superhero moments, then you really start to see the depth to her character; there’s a deep underlying anger and sadness that begins to seep through the cracks as Kara matures as a superhero. The female relationships on this show are amazing. The bond between Alex and Kara is so genuine and profound, it’s really the heart of the show. I’m loving this portrayal of Cat Grant, who I never really enjoyed in the comics. Cat plays the sorta Miranda Priestly character to Kara’s Andy. But there’s some real potential between their mentor and mentee relationship. I could go on, but seriously just watch the show. Watch Kara grow from the stumbling rookie to a confident superhero over the episodes, and you’ll be just as charmed as I was. For those who rate down because there’s not enough grittiness or broody angst so they can’t take the show seriously, go rewatch Batman or something and quit whining that you’re not the show’s target audience. I’ve recommended this show to my friends and family and I have received nothing but positive feedback. This show has a lot of potential and deserves another season..Score: 5/5
HorribleBetween the girl power ballads and the constant whining about living up to her "cousins" name, super girl is a crappy attempt at making a poppy super hero show. I forced myself through five episodes and everyone had a weak plot followed by weak fights and a weak soundtrack. Please if you love The Green Arrow, The Flash, Daredevil you won't find the same joy in this show. I hope it gets canceled..Score: 1/5

Consistently appealing, polished and brightA far cry from Marvel's Agents of Shield, and way more fun than Arrow -- Supergirl is more like The Flash in its bright, positive tone and slick VFX. It's a welcome change from the dark, gritty, BLEAK, hyperviolent comicbook movies seen at the cinema. So far they've kept SG and company strictly "PG" and suitable for children, with minimal profanity and lewdness. The producers have thankfully ignored the fanboy pigs who continue to wail and rage that SG doesn't look like a pornstar..Score: 4/5

Not what I’d hopedNot saying every one of the Flash/Arrow or Daredevil episodes are golden - but the Supergirl/Flash crossover was borrrrring. Dialog was uninteresting. The fight scenes were dull to the point of silliness, reminding me of the still shots of a storyboard instead of action-filled fights of most other current TV super hero shows. Doesn’t seem the show’s improved much from the pilot. Also - the artistic design/makeup team should be fired - Silver Banshee and Livewire were clownish looking, like they were villains for the ‘60s Batman show. Last note- I wasn’t the only fan who had sort of just expected a two-part story, one episode on each show..Score: 2/5
