In order to lure a vengeful vampire hunter named Rayna Cruz (recurring guest star Leslie-Anne Huff) away from his friends in Mystic Falls, Stefan heads to New Orleans, where Valerie (recurring guest star Elizabeth Blackmore) has learned of a safe house that can protect him. Once there, he comes face to face with Klaus Mikaelson (guest star/former series star Joseph Morgan – The Originals), who soon becomes suspicious of his old friend's unexpected arrival in his city. Meanwhile, Enzo, who is working on behalf of a mysterious organization called The Armory, approaches Damon and Bonnie with a plan that could protect Stefan from Rayna. Finally, after learning that Alaric has decided to leave for Dallas with the twins immediately, Caroline offers to accompany them on the trip and finds herself contemplating her own future in Mystic Falls..

Not FunctioningI’ve seen the show so far and it’s a good effort. However, it doesn’t seem right at all. Love her or hate her, Elena (Nina) was the glue that held the show together. Now, it’s very different and it seems a little pointless almost. There is just no show without her. It was “the story following Elena Gilbert’s life” to now “the story following Elena Gilbert’s friends live’s”. I think they should’ve ended it at season six instead of trying to drag the series up to the point of overstaying its welcome. I fear they’re going to prolong the inevitable for a very long time until its worn out..Score: 2/5

Might be daggeredYou've got some work to do to regain what's been lost, and I think it's more than just because one character is gone. This show was always a 5 and had us waiting for the next one. I see 3 eps available for download from back in December and I'm not sure I've got the time for this now. In the past that situation would have been like finding the last candy on earth. Just sayin. You're trying hard not to show it. But Baby, Baby I know it. You've lost that lovin' feelin'. The guest stars aren't carring it, they are too much..Score: 3/5
Pure GREEDThough I was initially on the fence about whether to stick with the show after Dobrev’s exit, I had decided to go ahead and buy season 7—until I saw that the producers (or whoever makes these decisions) opted to charge the same $40 (already ridiculous) for SD as they charge for HD! They are the ONLY show I have ever seen do this, and it is just unnecessary greed, pure and simple. I wish the actors the best, but this industry is out of control, and I just won’t support it anymore..Score: 1/5

Heretics have to go....ruining the show!Ok so they took one bad actress out (whose only benefit to the show was her on screen/off screen chemistry with Damon) and replaced her with three bad actresses (Lily's family/heretics)....what is the benefit in that!? Honestly Dobrevs acting would have been better if she actually acted instead of just posed for every scene, it seemed like she was always more interested in how she will look on screen than her actual role/acting and she was always hyper sexual so her character was portrayed as very superficial & shallow which made it hard to relate to her. That said, she has the potential to be a great actress with the right kind of coaching & dedication to the role rather than promoting herself..Score: 5/5

Nightmare solvedOut of 22 episodes I havnt even got half of them after paying for the season pass. But after speaking to support on live chat I have obtained a refund which will be processed in 10 working days and got 2 free episodes of anything of my choice. The rest of the episodes will air in summer and should be available after that though.Score: 2/5
