An awful messOkay let me first say that I owe it to Disney to be honest, so this is my honest review. We love Sofia the first, because it is cute, good for kids and the show itself is in good hands- it is done well. A tv show, such as this one, or any movie is a failure when it fails to capture the audiences emotions and fails to make the audience care about what's happening. I found myself wanting to turn this off. I feel like Elena is a Disney princess we have seen several times before - the fearless optimist Anna from frozen wannabe characters have to stop. But that isn't the real problem here- this show set everything up in 3 minutes - they should have had a whole TV movie to set up the back story or at least the whole episode so we can appreciate Elena of Avalor. The producers just seem to think that we just care automatically - we don't. I love Disney and we buy every Sofia episode, and Elena will never be what Sofia has been to kids/family tv due simply to not connecting with the audience. And what's with this animation? I also can't even stand the way Elena moves! Everything about this show - even down to the way Elena walks is wrong. This show is an example of the fact that just a because a studio might spend millions of dollars and a year or two on a product doesn't mean it's gonna be a good one. Just keeping it real..Score: 1/5
I totally recommend this show to you!I felt really good since the minute I watched the first episode! This show is really different from Sofia the first but it’s related to Sofia because of the amulet of avalor. Well I think both Elena of avalor and Sofia the first are amazing and in each episode the kids learn a thing or two!.Score: 5/5
