As the sun rises on Caprica, Starbuck (Katee Sackhoff) and Anders (Michael Trucco) discover that the Cylons have vanished. Brother Cavil declares it a miracle. But when they return to Galactica, the real reason for their survival become clear. Brother Cavil is a Cylon – his double counseled Tyrol (Aaron Douglas) – and he’s here to deliver a message: The Heroes of the Cylon – Number Six (Tricia Helfer) and Sharon (Grace Park) – have persuaded the leadership that trying to destroy the humans was an error. From now on they will live apart, in peace. At the same time, voting continues in the presidential election. Laura (Mary McDonnell) approaches Baltar (James Callis) and proposes that, whoever wins, they agree that colonization of the newly discovered planet will wait for further study. When Baltar spurns her offer, she confronts him about Number Six and, when he remains unmoved, she instructs her aide to take steps to steal the election. The plot, however, is discovered and Laura and Adama must choose between denying the will of the people and letting a man they suspect to be a Cylon collaborator take power. For Laura, the question is difficult but the answer is never in doubt. As President Baltar is sworn in, his lover, Gina, enacts a final vengeance against the fleet. Despite that, colonization of the new world goes ahead over Adama’s objections, who remains uneasy, anticipating the return of the Cylons. As the colonists set to work, Adama remains aboard Galactica with a few loyal crew, but what good is an old warhorse in time of peace? Perhaps the time has come – again – to turn out the lights....

WHAT! No episode 4?One week ago i purchased season one and just when i go to get season 2 i notice it's not a full season. It's missing episode 4 Resistance. Well whats the point then!.Score: 5/5
Season 2 is disappointingI loved season 1 and I was disappointed by season 2. This season progressively gets cheesier, with the climax being at episodes 13-17. Really, these episodes are horribly cheesy, the worst offender being "Scar". Things get more interesting toward the end of the season (of course), but not enough for me to continue watching that show..Score: 3/5
So Say We AllNo one, who has seen the show, cannot deny that this program is possibly one of the best out there. BSG exceeds the expectations of Sci-Fi fans, as well as any TV viewer. Battlestar Galactica showcases all of the qualities where many TV programs fall short. They manage to encompass science fiction elements with compelling drama and human emotion. The show is entertaining on numerous levels varying from epic battles, humorous pilot banter, to sexy vixen Cylons. I have only met one person who dislikes this program, and believe me--his credibility is zilch, and his friend count decreases on a daily basis. How has this show never been nominated for any Emmys? Please enjoy. You will not be dissapointed..Score: 5/5

Uncanny military realismI am an Army JAG, and to see the detail surrounding the legal proceedings when they from time to time arise is astounding. Admiral Cain even calls herself the senior "convening authority," an obscure detail no civilian attorney would ever know. Great show..Score: 5/5
Brilliant Sci-Fi action/drama exceeds expectationsI watched the mini-series premier with high expectations and was thoroughly impressed, so I was thrilled to read that it would become a series. This show rocks!!! The cast rocks!!! The similarities to the original are well done like the finding of the Pegasus but with an interesting twist. Having the episodes downloadable on iTunes is great as I expect to get only a chosen bunch.(for now)..Score: 5/5

Halfway through the season and better than everAs a huge science fiction fan, I can report that the new Battlestar Galactica is the be all and end all. From the gritty special effects to the excellent acting and writing, the fact that a science fiction presentation can be so engrossing on a 2 1/2" screen speaks volumes. The show is intelligently written and presented and assumes that the viewer is intelligent as well; the show never talks down to the audience. You actually believe that these worlds were destroyed and that these are desperate people; they even have a difficult to satisfy press. And Richard Hatch is redeemed! It is great fun to watch the former "Apollo" plot and scheme. If Season 4 really is the last season, we better start savoring the remaining episodes, because this kind of quality is a truly rare occurrence..Score: 5/5
