Still enjoyable ... but what's up with ITunes epi numbers?I still enjoy this show, as I have for 5 decades (yes, I'm that old). Pearl Mackie is a great new companion and I hope she stays on after Capaldi "regenerates." But what's up with ITunes? Can no one there number episodes sequentially? Or is there some "curse" when using even numbers?.Score: 4/5

So Far, So Great! After seeing ten episodes of this exhilarating series, it's safe to say that Peter Capaldi will be going out with a bang. I have absolutely loved every one of the ten episodes so far, which is not something that happens often with Doctor Who. Top notch story telling and of course, Bill, the new companion is brilliant. Wouldn't give it any other rating..Score: 5/5
Love the show, butI really, really love the show, but I HATE the way iTunes organizes the episodes. Couldn't you have the behind the scenes "episodes" numbered episodes 101, 102, etc? The behind the scenes of episode 1 should not be "Episode 2." Then that makes the actual episode 2 into episode 3. It's confusing..Score: 4/5
Apple is for Rich PeopleBecause I don’t have $30 or $22 to spend, I’m not going to risk the “GET” button because it looks like the inly option is to buy the whole season. This is a first for Dr Who in my experience. I eagerly anticipated spending $2.99 for a lovely Easter afternoon watching Dr Who. If this is the case where you have to buy the season or none at all, it’s just one more example of Apple, or BIG MEDIA, being only accessible to rich people. Do you wonder why people seek other means of obtaining content on the internet. I’m not one of them so I guess no Dr Who for me today. :(.Score: 1/5
Saved by its MomentumIf you like your morally strident political messages delivered with all the subtlety of a jackhammer to the face, then this is the season for you. It makes clear what must be a deliberate tightening of the shows’ target audience toward people like the current “most helpful” reviewer. If you don’t get a thrill from putting down the politically out of step and want to laugh at a mad sifi show then, well, The Doctor is still here and the actor who plays him is a good actor, even the new companion is played by a good actor and brings a different kind of quirky fun to the show. The writers so far haven’t found out how to capitalize on Capaldi’s strengths but for the most part he holds it together. The show still has a few good moments if you can stick with it and ignore the eye-rolling ones. I like this show, but this series was barely worth my time..Score: 3/5

Very disappointing for life long fanI never that I'd say this, but this season might be the reason I stop watching Dr Who until they can put the excitement, fun and enjoyment back into the series. I have been an avid fan since Tom Baker in the 70's. This has been a underwhelming season. When Clara finally left the show after overstaying her visit by 2 years I thought maybe Peter Capaldi might get the chance to shine. No such luck. The new companion, Bill, is also a diappointing character. I don't know if this is her first acting gig or not, but I do hope she is not here next season. Hopefully, next year there with be a new and more envigorating Dr. Who and a companion who is at least in the class of a Sarah Jane, Amy & Rory, Rose or Martha. Ruined by BillI love Dr. Who and I think that Peter Capaldi is the best one ever. Unfortunately this series is completely ruined by the choice of Pearl Mackie to play the role of Bill. Knock KnockMy favourite episode so far of the season. A happy ending and a little spooky. Great to have an LGBT character so well expressed as an individual. Like how this episode goes a little way to establish Bill's life as having a true independence. It's ok with some good bits!I've watched every season. I love them all! This season was the slowest to start and I feel a lot of unresolved bits. Also it's way to politically correct at times and obviously so. I've never known Dr. Who to be this way. It's always been kind, yes. Always thoughtful, yes, but it's never pandered to an ideology. If they have all the working parts-The Time Lords-then they are men in every way. The good bits and the bad. To have them regenerate into women is interesting but I'm not sure with what I've seen here it will be done right. Missy is what Time Lords turn into when they regenerate into women. Have you ever known and asssertive woman who isn't a B? That can be good and bad and some would say the Doctor is one. Lets hold hands and sing Kumbaya does't make for good storytelling. I'm not interested in seeing Molly Weasley as Dr. Who. With a lot of thought it can be done but not when you're afraid to say anything for fear of being called a misogynist.
