Great ShowI’ve seen the comments on the show about the writing even Julia stiles letting herself go. First, I love this show even though I watch European shows instead of American shows because they constantly throw sexuality to sell the series. Julia and that whole staff are great. Her body looks great as well, there’s no way they would have let her stroll on the Riviera in any other wardrobe. The women dress like that 4 real daily and switch clothing through the day to stay fresh. ( Been There ). If they can cut the sex scenes down to 2 , it would get 6 stars. Go with the real script and not the add ends to be politically correct all the time. 2 much love for this series,!!!!.Score: 5/5

Comically BadThree episodes in, I'm surprised that Ms Stiles would take this job. The writing is truly awful, Stiles is mis-cast and the plot teems with sterotypical characters, all badly acted/directed. It's amusing to watch but that's not a compliment..Score: 3/5

Fun!The set and wardrobe are worth it alone. The story is pretty good; the acting is great. The arc reminded me of a Shakespearean tragedy. I like a bit more hope and levity in what I watch, hence four, not five, stars..Score: 4/5
I actually liked itI saw it for free on Apple TV when they were launching the app. As a bonus, season one was free. I liked it. But I didn’t like it enough to download the Sundance TV app. I will see if Netflix or Amazon will make a deal with them,hopefully, because all these streaming services are really digging into my pocket. GoofyFirst of all, Julia Stiles can't act a stitch and has let herself go physically. Lena Olin is a great actress. The writers made a complicated enough series but I didn't understand the last scene. The work it took to wade through all the intrigues wasn't worth the "payoff" at the end. Lots of cliches in terms of plot and dialogue. Shouldn't have cast that icky guy from Game of Thrones..Score: 3/5

The quality actors make the show.This is not an American type of show. I love the location shooting as I recognise most of the background. The choice of casting for this series is excellent. These actors make really good use of the limited dialogue. I think with some seasoned writers, these actors can really make a second season stellar.
