Never saw the original, love this thoughI never saw the original, mostly bcz it was a daytime soap opera, and partly bcz it started in the 80's and i'm 24 so I was born in 93. Though I do enjoy a plethora of older movies and music and tv shows from the 90s but not so much in the way of tv shows prior to the 90s. So far though, this show is one of the few where I watched the first episode and loved it so much that I wish I hadn't stumbled on it for a few more week so that I could watch at least 3 episodes at a time..Score: 5/5

Horrible rebootI watched Knots Landing, Falcon Crest, Dynasty and Dallas back in the day and was really looking forward to this. The recent remake of Dallas was very well done, but this thing is a hot mess. To be fair, a couple of them can deliver their lines believably but most of them don't appear to have a clue what they are doing. And the plot changes from the original are all in a politically correct direction and don't make any sense at all... it would have been better if they came up with a completely new family, story and title because this is just too painful to watch....Score: 1/5
