Disappointing conclusionThe ending was such a disappointment, it makes it hard to enjoy the show overall knowing how it all unfolds. The finale did not make sense narratively for several reasons and it was such a frustrating and disappointing conclusion to the series and for so many of these characters I had followed and loved for years. An immortal family that will be missed for eternityI started out watching Vampire Diaries, (which occasionally I would get a stale period watching & fall off for a bit, but always to return) when this series got its spinoff I instantly fell in love with every aspect of the show. From the suspenseful writing, to the sexy casting members & all the mythical witchy woo that came flowing out of New Orleans. The Mikealson family might be moving onto bloodier pastures, but they'll always have a place in my heart, as well as New Orleans. I really hope for a possible movie spinoff of the original immortal family(I'm sure it would be a bloody good time), despite all their wrong doings & battles, they stick to their pack of family first no matter what. Many families in today's world could take a note from the Mikealson story in regards to family, I know mine could. Cheers to a fabulous run, a prosperous future, to the safety of one Hope Mikealson & that Fría finally finds her happy ever ending with her bodacious lady friend.
