Disappointing conclusionThe ending was such a disappointment, it makes it hard to enjoy the show overall knowing how it all unfolds. The finale did not make sense narratively for several reasons and it was such a frustrating and disappointing conclusion to the series and for so many of these characters I had followed and loved for years. A Masterpiece-Hidden GemAlthough this show may seem cliché vampire drama at times, it's so much more than that. I've watched dozens, possibly hundreds of shows without ever writing a review. This show isn't about vampires or werewolves or witches (although it does have a lot of them). Its about a family, and their triumphs and failures over 1000 years together. The characters are extremely well written, especially Niklaus. Cheers to an amazing show!.Score: 5/5

An immortal family that will be missed for eternityI started out watching Vampire Diaries, (which occasionally I would get a stale period watching & fall off for a bit, but always to return) when this series got its spinoff I instantly fell in love with every aspect of the show. From the suspenseful writing, to the sexy casting members & all the mythical witchy woo that came flowing out of New Orleans. The Mikealson family might be moving onto bloodier pastures, but they'll always have a place in my heart, as well as New Orleans. I really hope for a possible movie spinoff of the original immortal family(I'm sure it would be a bloody good time), despite all their wrong doings & battles, they stick to their pack of family first no matter what. Many families in today's world could take a note from the Mikealson story in regards to family, I know mine could. Cheers to a fabulous run, a prosperous future, to the safety of one Hope Mikealson & that Fría finally finds her happy ever ending with her bodacious lady friend. What do you expect?Folks, this is iTunes, what do you expect? We purchased a series 3 years ago, same issues as described here. iTunes would not make episodes available for download. We contacted iTunes to see where our shows were. iTunes told us to contact the show and see if we could get the downloads because iTunes did not know where the shows were.
