It's good but not the sameI enjoyed the pilot. It is good but not the same or as good as the original. If you want the same, as I did, then you will be disappointed, as I was. However, if you forget that there was a previous Magnum P.I. then you can certainly enjoy this show. It isn't nearly as good but it's still worth watching..Score: 4/5

Imagine...First off, MAGNUM PI was and is the best tv series ever! Thanks to Tom Selleck, John Hillerman, Larry Manetti and Roger Mosley.... as well as the entire cast, crew and writers.... and the input of Donald Bellisario. NOBODY can replace them. But, I watched the first episode, mentally projecting the original cast instead of these current wanna-bes. If only..... Like another reiewer said, if you can forget the existence of the original, it might be passable.... If only.....Score: 2/5
