It could have been so good...but it's not!Nathan Fillion is great, he shows his great skills as an actor while injecting that sly humor of his. No problem with his performance. Good show, but flawed.The "rookies need to break up" storyline is so ridiculous and forced it puts a hard squeeze on an otherwise decent series. Their relationship is half the fun of the show. Fix that and I can live with the other cliches and issues with the story..Score: 3/5

Has potential but . . .. . . the writing is so heavy-handed. I get that they need to set up the characters and the storyline in the pilot in order to draw us in, but I have rarely seen so many clichƩs and overused plot points in a single episode. I am a huge Nathan Fillion fan; and, he and the rest of the cast bring solid acting to this show, but the material they have to work with needs finesse, some original ideas and much greater depth.
