Good but not as good...The theme song should give you a clear hint... I'm just getting into the 2nd season and It's a well deserved 3 stars so far. To use a baseball metaphor. Enterprise is just moving around the bases, don't expect any home runs... The previous Star Treks were a bit higher quality and substance. FantasticI absolutely love this series. If you favor the Vulcans ther is a chance youā€™ll enjoy this series as it focuses on them quite a bit. Plus the series as a great crew. The fact that they stopped Enterprise after 4 seasons instead of 7, like the others, is a shame..Score: 5/5

Tā€™pol & tripI found the series a little dry at first & then I got so into it I couldnā€™t stop watching is was brilliant. But I wanted a happy Vulcan/human love story that ended wellā€¦. What did we get Trip dead jst before the end & Tā€™pol trying hard to keep the unvulcan emotions she has for him insideā€¦ it was heartbreaking. CC have improvedFew years ago, I bought each season of Enterprise separately one by one, but many episodes in each of the seasons, would have subtitles for the deaf (commonly known as Closed Captions in US, usually using a symbol of CC in a box) out of sync. The characters would speak first, then it would be two or three seconds later, the subtitles shows up. I complained to Apple about this, and they refunded me. I deleted the 4 seasons from my library. Then I decided to have a go downloading this Complete Series, and have to admit that the subtitles have improved. The CC for each episodes are doing fine, are in sync with what the actors are saying. Well only a very few episodes, one here and one there, would have it a little out of sync, but only by half a second or something. Althought most of the CC are in the annoying CAPS LOCK, but otherwise, it is better and an improvement over that of when I first bought each seasons. For the deaf fans of Enterprise, I would advise downloading this Complete Series only, not the 4 separate ones. But it had been a few years since I bought the separate ones, so I have no idea if the subtitles have been fixed, but I know for sure that this Complete Series does have better subtitles..Score: 4/5

The Last REAL Star TrekEnterprise (ENT) was great it took a slow start but it also got Denied itā€™s final three seasons due to silly paramount & cbs or upnā€¦. The show itself is great the ship is awesome the series radically changed for season three and season four was the show feeling comfortable and had found itā€™s place and pace. Casting wise I was unsure about Quantum Leap Sam Beckett as Archer but he really nailed it and was a great Captain. I didnā€™t like Tā€™Pol or Chip and they under-utilised Mayweather but the show is decent enough and as far as real Trekkies are concerned this was the last real Star Trek show that was using Gene Roddenberryā€™s ideology even though it was definitely not as close as the far superior VOYAGER was. I would recommend and for me I actually donā€™t buy shows but this is just goes to show how good it really is..Score: 4/5

The adventures of captains Kirk, Picard, Sisko, and Janeway have captivated Star Trek fans for decades, but their roots have never been fully detailed. How did the Federation, Starfleet, and the wisdom that brought both peace and all of those technological marvels come into being? In the fall of 2001, viewers got their answer in the person of Captain Jonathan Archer and the new series Star Trek: Enterprise. Set in 2151 — over a century before Kirk's voyages in Star Trek lore — and only 150 years ahead of our own time, Enterprise set out to explore a whole new world of the unknown. Earth's people have only just perfected the Warp 5 engine and a whole deeper region of space beckons. But in spite of the Vulcans' misgivings, whose "aid" many see as condescending and cautious, the humans strive to realize their potential. Archer is chief among them, but when he is forced to launch his new ship with T'Pol, a Vulcan first officer, a bond of mutual respect slowly grows between them that bodes well for humanity's maturity. Allies and enemies await discovery, protocols are unheard of, and a mysterious Temporal Cold War has focused on Archer's destiny. Will the crew of the NX-01 Enterprise have the raw energy, honor and guts to pioneer the way?

The fourth and final season of Star Trek: Enterprise helped bridge the gap between Enterprise and the future developments of Star Trek: The Original Series. Capt. Archer and his crew escape from an alternate timeline ā€”Ā the result of the continuing Temporal Cold War ā€”Ā in which the Nazis have invaded U.S. soil in 1944. In the normal Enterprise timeline, political upheavals have left relations between Vulcans, Andorians, Tellarites, and Humans in a state of near-disastrous chaos. The main story arcs for Season 4 include the trilogy ("Borderland," "Cold Station 12," and "The Augments") in which Dr. Arik Soong (played by Next Generation alumnus Brent Spiner) and his superhuman "Augments" chart a tragic course that would lead, in future generations, to the creation of Spiner's cybernetic NextGen character, Data. Another three-episode arc, "The Forge," "Awakening," and "Kir'Shara," returns T'Pol (Jolene Blalock) to her native Vulcan, where encounters with the legendary philosopher Surak and a zealous sect called the Syrannites lead to pivotal history with the Vulcan High Command. In subsequent episodes, Phlox (John Billingsley) discovers the reason why some Klingons lack "cranial ridges," and "In a Mirror, Darkly" marks an eventful return to the "Mirror Universe" from the original series episode "Mirror, Mirror" and the reappearance of the U.S.S. Defiant from the original series episode "The Tholian Web."
