Definitely not RoswellJust like the other reviewers...the show jumped the shark right from the very beginning with giving it a very strong political message and taking it away from the source material to the extreme. Turning a couple of characters gay for the sake of “hey, we need gays on the show” is just pathetic. When I watch a show, I want to be entertained and all this show does is the exact opposite. Roswell Has PotentialThis show starts off a bit sluggish and grows on you. Don’t listen to the haters regarding story Lines and plot points about politics it’s 2019 it works get over it. Liked it more than I thought I would!First off, I'm Asian and my parents were immigrants, but I'm not 100% sold on the idea of remaking my favorite 90s shows willy nilly just to include more minority representation. (I'm a bigger fan of creating new content to accomplish that.) That being said, I was not on the train for the Charmed remake. This one, though, was surprisingly thoughtful. Recent politics aside, the idea of paralleling the experiences of human undocumented immigrants with alien ones is just genius and makes sense from a storytelling perspective. Both kinds of "aliens" experience vilification and persecution and misunderstanding. Just from a literary standpoint, it's a fun parallel to use to explore the meaning of "alien"! Plus, the character adjustments here in this remake actually make sense, such as the character who is now gay. Check your politics at the door and you might actually like it..Score: 5/5

Touches it allFirst off the cast is amazing; they pull off every scene seamlessly. The show itself can get a little political but they touch on topics that other shows hesitate on: threesomes, the cost of loyalty, healthy relationships vs emotionally abusive ones - all in a way I haven’t seen many shows pull off before. I highly recommend giving this show a chance..Score: 5/5
I am also a fan of the original and like the reboot so far, however...The original Roswell is timeless. I feel that the reboot is trying to send out a political message instead of entertaining. A word of advice for the writers...stop! I’m afraid the show isn’t going to make it to another season if it continues. Maybe that’s the point? 🤔.Score: 3/5
