This show made my wish come true!Karate Kid being one of my favorite shows of all time growing up and Johnny Lawrence was my favorite character of that movie. Saw it when I was 7 years old. Never would’ve thought that 35 years later, Daniel and Johnnys story would continue. Season 1 is a fun for fans of the Karate Kid and new fans. Enjoying itWhen this was first announced I assumed the worst. That it’d be YouTube buying up a old property to quick knock out something with brand recognition. However, having watched all but the last episode, I’m very happy with it. It’s not perfect but certainly worth watching. I’ll try not to spoil it but quit reading from this point if you want to be absolutely fresh on it. I like that Daniel becomes the jerk (well, he’s always been, imo) and Johnny mostly appears to have been humbled and learning his lessons - rectifying his life. It does feel though they walk back on that and they make johnny the jerk again and Daniel is the hero. I hope that’s not the case..FranklinDStalloneScore: 4/5
