Best season yet!Naysayers need to stay in their lane if they haven’t watched it. If you watched it you’ll know that it stays true to the original trek canon but with a fresh updated feel. I like all the trek series there are and will continue to be a TRUE trek fan unlike the negative nellies that that put it down. Can’t wait for season 3 and the new Picard series!.Score: 5/5
It’s all about Captain PikeSeason 1 of Discovery was cool but had some issues, for me it was the Klingons (those damned Klingons), I hated the redesign and the fact they sounded muffled. Season 2 starts with a bang, the Enterprise shows up and Captain Pike takes over as Captain. The story this time was very focused and there was more humor this time around. They did a great job fixes some of the issues from season, Klingons now speak English, and no longer sound muffled, and major point, they introduced the bridge crew in a great way. It irked me that throughout all of season 1 that I didn’t know the bridge crews name. But Captain Pike in this series is the perfect mix of Captain Picard and Captain Kirk, all of their best qualities. If you kinda liked season 1, watch season 2 it was light years better..Score: 5/5
Catch Up and Quit Nerding OutThe show has been controversial to old-school fans (i’m one of them), but come on. The acting is great, and this season took us places. Trek is about inclusion, and this season brought that home. Loved it..Score: 5/5
Solid Star Trek contentI like Star Trek story and concept. Can't claim to be a hardcore fan, but I like it a lot. I will be honest - I strongly dislike political correctness and progressive values when they are aggressively promoted in movies. Also I am not a huge supporter of time travel and parallel universes, as they are usually representing lazy writing. So Season 1 did not impress me much. However, Season 2 came out much better. Plot is interesting, addition of Pike and Spock was very soothing. Less of PC crap. Generally, good job. Bought this one….Score: 4/5
Woke yet?The dumbing down of America......comes to mind. Considering such a very very small percentage of Americans are either “woke”, or homosexual, why go there as if half of us or more consider it unwelcome at the very least! I understand the need to realize those that are, just remind the writers of this show, only 5-6 percentage of America are homosexual! It adds very little to the show, and totally unwelcome by a very large percentage of us! Normal issues are hard enough to navigate, homelessness, low wages, poverty are just a few things on a long list of items you all stay away from, why the force feeding of this subject? When will enough be enough? This sickness is not worth it, and damages all the good you are trying to gain. Being “woke” is as solid as politically correctness was, and still every episode includes this nasty human tradition..Score: 1/5
ST Discovery S-2Became a Trek fan again. Great story lines, acting and actors. Hope CBS can walk the line with season 3 and the other new up coming Star Trek based series..Score: 5/5
Best Star Trek Series since Original Star TrekThe writers who was responsible for J.J. Abrams Star Trek movies which are made to movies of the best episodes. Well this is well written as well. I like the action and storyline also the score by Jeff Russo. This is very intriguing storyline. Looking forward to Season 3..Score: 5/5
