Best sci-fi ever made for television bar NONE!I didn’t even watch this show until it was cancelled because of the lousy advertising they did for it, and because they took off Dark Angel to bring it in (which was my favorite show at the time) so I was mad. Then for lack of anything else to watch I started watching when they re-aired it. I was hooked immediately. The characters, the dialogue, the little bits of Chinese. Just everything was so good that I have watched those shows so many times I can tell you where mistakes were made. Still love it today. I have to say that one thing I am so glad that Joss Wheden did not put in this series like in so many other sci-fi is a myriad of aliens in all shapes and sizes. This makes it even more real to me. This was your best show EVER Joss, I think you think so too. OH and kudos for the music, beatuful & haunting, I have downloaded all of that also..Score: 5/5
Brilliant!Fantastic series! I found it after it was canceled but faught for its resurrection. Brilliant work. You found fans all over the wold eager to see new worlds of fantasy and Science Fiction. Although Firefly only had one season, it remains growing in the imagination of its followers for over a decade later. Thank you Joss Wheedon. Plain SillyThis show is like taking scifi and western genres, putting them into a bottle, and shaking them up. You have a gunslinging protagonist who flies spaceships and goes horseback riding. Most Quotable Show EverMy favourite show, hands down. I loved the cast, the writing, the cast... every episode was amazingly well done. The way the characters pull you into the story and make you wish there was more... much, much more. Most memorable is the humour. And it only gets better with re-watching. Why this seams real?Do you remember original star wars, they seamed real as well. Only because of one guy, harison ford. He was normal guy who used technology, and wouldn't care less for spaceships or "one force that controls everything". That's why this show is so good, they just use technology available and don't care less if that is a keyboard or abacus as long it gets job done. The real question is what kind of abacus stopped this after one season..Score: 5/5

Amazing... ButFirstly, this is an amazing show. No question about it. Infact, this is probably *the* greatest show, of my generation. It's scifi at its best, pure and simple. However! This big however, is nothing about the show. Its about the price. Yes this show is probably worth the amount iTunes is selling it for. A Very Underrated TV ShowArguably a great show that left as fast as it came and mostly due to Fox Network's inability of stabilizing shows in one slot. This poor show was given bad time slots and then moved to the infamous Friday night death slot. (The day & time of the week when nobody watches TV). Obviously due to the confusion of this insanity, Firefly lost a lot of audiences and it was cancelled. But make no mistake. This is an exceptionally well conceived show from the brilliant mind of Joss Whedon (Creator of Buffy, Angel) Set in the distant future when the two powers of the world, US & China have influenced the course of events in the show and set abroad humanity accross the universe. The show follows the crew of the ship Serenity who are more than willing to take on any jobs that come their way. That said, they have a stow-away on board who hides a dark secret. The best advice i can give you is to watch Firefly and then continue the story in Serenity, the motion picture which followed after the cancellation of the show as the story continues into that. This is no Star Trek. Its actually, in my opinion, better..Score: 5/5
IconicIt's an overused word but in this instance entirely justified. A whole sub-genre was spawned. It is rare to have a pretext that doesn't feel painfully contrived and inadequate (Allowing for the lack of actual Asians in the series). To have solid special effects, good plot, exquisite writing and engaging characters as well makes for a lot of stars. BSG's reboot demonstrated how to do this as a complete arc. But I think this ship sailed. Leaving us with a James Dean of a series and a solid film to Append it..Score: 5/5
