Brilliant!Fantastic series! I found it after it was canceled but faught for its resurrection. Brilliant work. You found fans all over the wold eager to see new worlds of fantasy and Science Fiction. Cancelled!?You often have to wonder at the stupidity of others. Like an idiot, I never bothered to check how many seasons were available of this show. When I realized that there was only 1 season, after getting half way through, I was literally blown away at the stupidity of 20th Century. This was easily the best show I've ever seen. I've shown Firefly to friends that totally hate any and all things sci-fi, and they loved it. I mean completly adored it. What a terrible shame that this show wasn't continued..Score: 5/5

One of the best shows ever, highly underrated + deserved to last more than 1 season.I love everything about this show. It's probably my favourite of Joss Whedon's shows. Too bad that it got cancelled so early, it deserved so much better. The best episodes, IMO, Objects in Space, Out of Gas, Serenity, War Stories, Ariel, and Our Mrs. Reynolds. The Serenity movie is also full of greatness. Now Apple just needs to put the Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel shows on the Canadian ITunes store, and all of Joss Whedon's shows will be covered..Score: 5/5

Late to a great party!I watched the last episode today, can't believe there are no more. Great Sci-fi, great writing, great story, great characters, great actors no trashy ott effects.....brilliant. I have just downloaded the movie and will give that a watch. Please watch this series if you li8ke sci-fi and wonder at how brilliant it is even now after quite a few years!!! A Very Underrated TV ShowArguably a great show that left as fast as it came and mostly due to Fox Network's inability of stabilizing shows in one slot. This poor show was given bad time slots and then moved to the infamous Friday night death slot. (The day & time of the week when nobody watches TV). Obviously due to the confusion of this insanity, Firefly lost a lot of audiences and it was cancelled. But make no mistake. This is an exceptionally well conceived show from the brilliant mind of Joss Whedon (Creator of Buffy, Angel) Set in the distant future when the two powers of the world, US & China have influenced the course of events in the show and set abroad humanity accross the universe. The show follows the crew of the ship Serenity who are more than willing to take on any jobs that come their way. That said, they have a stow-away on board who hides a dark secret. The best advice i can give you is to watch Firefly and then continue the story in Serenity, the motion picture which followed after the cancellation of the show as the story continues into that. This is no Star Trek. Its actually, in my opinion, better..Score: 5/5

IconicIt's an overused word but in this instance entirely justified. A whole sub-genre was spawned. It is rare to have a pretext that doesn't feel painfully contrived and inadequate (Allowing for the lack of actual Asians in the series). To have solid special effects, good plot, exquisite writing and engaging characters as well makes for a lot of stars. BSG's reboot demonstrated how to do this as a complete arc. But I think this ship sailed. Leaving us with a James Dean of a series and a solid film to Append it..Score: 5/5
