Cancelled!?You often have to wonder at the stupidity of others. Like an idiot, I never bothered to check how many seasons were available of this show. When I realized that there was only 1 season, after getting half way through, I was literally blown away at the stupidity of 20th Century. This was easily the best show I've ever seen. I've shown Firefly to friends that totally hate any and all things sci-fi, and they loved it. I mean completly adored it. What a terrible shame that this show wasn't continued..Score: 5/5

A future that seems real.Maybe our world will be just like the one in Firefly. The world in this story are so real that you could touch it with your bare hands, so does the characters. After Japanese anime Cowboy Bebop, I have been looking for a similar show until I found Firefly. Try it, you will love the stories and humor. It is bad it was cancelled after first season, but who knows, maybe that is the good thing----make it a masterpiece..Score: 5/5

Most Quotable Show EverMy favourite show, hands down. I loved the cast, the writing, the cast... every episode was amazingly well done. The way the characters pull you into the story and make you wish there was more... much, much more. Most memorable is the humour. And it only gets better with re-watching. Fantastic show!This show is classic Joss Whedon - excellent writing, well-cast, ingenious premise, and witty writing. The actors are phenomenal. It's too bad it was cancelled well before its time. The movie "Serenity" and allusions to it in Nathan Fillion's new show, Castle, help dull the pain. This is definitely worth checking out and becoming a brown coat!.Score: 5/5

Soooo good!So good I actually named our daughter after one of the characters (we liked the name Inara - my wife had not actually seen the show at that point)!!! If only all TV was so enjoyable, I watched this when it was first made and canāt believe they axed it. Damn you Joss Whedon for creating such a great Tv show! You'll probably watch this for the rest of your lifeI've lost count of the number of times over the past few years I've been sitting bored in the house and thought "I know, I'll watch Firefly again!". Joss Whedon at his finest, you'll fall in love with the characters very quickly and each episode tells a fantastic story. Firefly brings light-hearted but compelling sci-fi with some great action scenes and excellent dialog. The character development itself is supurb and you'll feel like you really get to know each individual's personalities, quirks and traits. By the end of the series you'll wish so much that Joss was able to continue making this fantastic programme. But it, keep it, you won't regret it!.Score: 5/5

A Very Underrated TV ShowArguably a great show that left as fast as it came and mostly due to Fox Network's inability of stabilizing shows in one slot. This poor show was given bad time slots and then moved to the infamous Friday night death slot. (The day & time of the week when nobody watches TV). Obviously due to the confusion of this insanity, Firefly lost a lot of audiences and it was cancelled. But make no mistake. This is an exceptionally well conceived show from the brilliant mind of Joss Whedon (Creator of Buffy, Angel) Set in the distant future when the two powers of the world, US & China have influenced the course of events in the show and set abroad humanity accross the universe. The show follows the crew of the ship Serenity who are more than willing to take on any jobs that come their way. That said, they have a stow-away on board who hides a dark secret. The best advice i can give you is to watch Firefly and then continue the story in Serenity, the motion picture which followed after the cancellation of the show as the story continues into that. This is no Star Trek. Its actually, in my opinion, better..Score: 5/5
Well, Fox turned out to be goram idiots...... Firefly didn't Keep Flying. One season, one movie; that's all we got. Oh how the nerd race wrung its hands and sobbed into its pillows! Comicon Q&As and Twitter rumours are all we can look forward to now. Let it go Geeks, it wasn't to be... Firefly is part of our SciFi heritage, along with Chewbacca, Deckard and Ripley. It's awesome for reasons that are not apparent at first. Slightly hammy and with a curious ability to not take itself too seriously, it very soon finds a place in the heart. The characters are warm and engaging. The plot, though simple, is fun and action packed. A new genre; cowboys, comedy and space long before Daniel Craig turned up. It is a thing of beauty. Enjoy! btw I saw this picture on Instagram of Morena Baccarin and she was holding a 2019 script entitled "Beyond Miranda"....Score: 5/5

Amazing... ButFirstly, this is an amazing show. No question about it. Infact, this is probably *the* greatest show, of my generation. It's scifi at its best, pure and simple. However! This big however, is nothing about the show. Its about the price. Yes this show is probably worth the amount iTunes is selling it for. But you can buy the box set off another well known site for Ā£13.99, which gives commentaries, extras, etc.. --- End of the day, an amazing show, but look elsewhere..Score: 5/5
