Cancelled!?You often have to wonder at the stupidity of others. Like an idiot, I never bothered to check how many seasons were available of this show. When I realized that there was only 1 season, after getting half way through, I was literally blown away at the stupidity of 20th Century. This was easily the best show I've ever seen. I've shown Firefly to friends that totally hate any and all things sci-fi, and they loved it. I mean completly adored it. What a terrible shame that this show wasn't continued..Score: 5/5

Fantastic show!This show is classic Joss Whedon - excellent writing, well-cast, ingenious premise, and witty writing. The actors are phenomenal. It's too bad it was cancelled well before its time. IconicIt's an overused word but in this instance entirely justified. A whole sub-genre was spawned. It is rare to have a pretext that doesn't feel painfully contrived and inadequate (Allowing for the lack of actual Asians in the series). To have solid special effects, good plot, exquisite writing and engaging characters as well makes for a lot of stars. BSG's reboot demonstrated how to do this as a complete arc. But I think this ship sailed. Leaving us with a James Dean of a series and a solid film to Append it..Score: 5/5

Really, Really, Really GoodHonestly, I tried watching this a while back, but couldn't get into the first episode. I just watched the entire series on Netflix in less than a week. It's much better than you might think, and it really didn't deserve to be cancelled. I was only 5 when it was released (although I'm English), and I still like it - despite it being almost as old as me (in terms of TV shows). You really should, at the very least, give it a try... And memorise the theme song... It's really catchy ;).Score: 5/5
