Incredible (spoiler alert)I absolutely loved the two seasons of this new version of Perry Mason. On top of the great story lines the music by Terence Blanchard adds perfectly to the story. The characters are very well-developed and nothing like the original. A Black Paul Drake, lesbian and gay Della Street and Hamilton Burger, respectively. John Lithgow is also amazing. I am really sad there will be no season three..Score: 5/5
Forget about itIf the catch here is full male nudity and molestation of babies' bodies to try to rope in an audience, you know they are desperate. All that and my husband fell asleep. Nothing to see here. No catchy dialog, no great characters, no reasonable plot. Nothing more than a misappropriation of the good name of Perry Mason, which was originally a show with something to offer to an audience. This is a bad joke. Don't waste your money. Not the same but still wonderful.This isn’t the Perry Mason we knew and loved as played by Canadian actor Raymond Burr...but it’s a dark and great show in its own right. It’s a grittier take on Earl Stanley Gardner’s books. I loved the first season and it’s homages to the original tv series..Score: 4/5
