Don’t Ignore the Negative Reviews!Star Trek: Picard kills Picard and remakes him as an android. It makes no sense. Why is Data trapped in a box? He blewed up when he killed Shinzon in 2003. Now you can get Data DNA and clone a whole group of androids from a blewed up Data? Huh? Climate change denial makes more sense than this show..Score: 1/5

I was skeptical.I was worried about this one. Modern shows/movies revisiting the classics tend to ruin them. This one did not do that. Although, I could have done without the F-bombs, totally unecessary. I also could have done without the pulling out of the eyeballs. The F-bombs and the torture scene really killed the Star Trek TNG feel, and I did not like that at all. Star Trek TNG was my favorite, and this one did a pretty good job sticking to that aside from the few problems. Clean up the language and dial down the graphic stuff, and I will be fully on board..Score: 4/5

Thoroughly enjoyed!!Yes it may not be everyone's Next Gen, but take it as a new series, with fan service and more action, and I thoroughly enjoyed it!!.Score: 5/5

Star Trek - Picard. EXCELLENT!A very enjoyable fantasy on the continuation of the Star Trek universe. We have to keep in mind and not take too seriously the aspect that this is a fantasy and is not totally based on the facts of reality. I really liked the cast and the different directions the characters were taken. To me and in my opinion, I thoroughly enjoyed Star Trek Picard and I am looking forward to the next season of the show. I would rate this first season as excellent..Score: 5/5

Star Trek at its BEST!This is the most unique and interesting show to exist within the Star Trek universe. The characters are varied and interesting, the story is fantastic, and of course, Patrick Stewart is at the top of his game. I can’t wait for season 2. Don’t listen to the folks who can’t accept that Star Trek can grow beyond TOS, TNG, DS9, VOY, or ENT. This is how characters and shows evolve. Really good stuff. Highly recommended..Score: 5/5

Unwatchable. The first review I tried to write of this was so negative and so strongly worded that iTunes actually refused to post it, and I didn’t even use any cuss words. Let’s just say that I didn’t even manage to get through the entire season because I hated it so much. I hope these statements are enough of a review, as I don’t think I could write an accurate review that iTunes would find more acceptable than my first one..Score: 1/5

I love all Star TrekThis series was enjoyable.Score: 5/5

Entertaining and IntrestingThis was a lot of fun and had an interesting storyline. It was good SF! It made the tie-ins to the previous series and then brought them forward with new threads. Also do think it kept in line to STO and TNG with various moral conundrums getting worked through. Plenty of action and great special effects also..Score: 5/5

Not quite thereThree stars for the first three episodes. After that the plot is scattered and thin, decorated with dark trope. But, really amazing actors. This is the kind of show one keeps watching anyway, hoping it will somehow get better. Star Trek is about the triumph of intelligence and dignity. This series — not quite there..Score: 3/5
