Up in the Air...Speaking as a die hard Superman fan since I was in 1st grade (way long time ago), I like how in the beginning they showed the original "S" on his suit to pay homage to Martha making it and the first series, not a fan of the new 52 suit, I think it should be traditional appearance, this one is too mixed.. Not a fan at all of the motivation to bring them home to Samllville, just sayin... The story is unique, interesting even the way they tie in some of the crossovers, but, I think there is still many things that I am not sure will stay the course. Curious to see how they develop it further, but I do really like the different spin, I just hope it doesn't stay on the path that it seems to be going on now in becoming another Smallville extension... Been there, done that. Just because there are "kids" and it is already tieing in to "luck" showing up for the family every time there is an "accident", doesn't mean it has to be the same all over again. A promising new series featuring Superman and his familyMost of the superman stuff that’s come out in recent years has been pretty blah. I’m not a very big DC comics fan. This TV series changes superman in a very good way. The production values very high. The musical score supports the action and drama in a significant way. Way better then I was expecting!The CW seems to be turning it around with this DC show. Superman & Lois truly feels like the continuation of Donner’s Superman. This version of Superman and Lois is dramatically better then how they were portrayed on Supergirl. AwesomeThis is the first Superman since Christopher Reeve that really felt like Superman to me. Tyler Hoechlin seems to effortlessly embody the iconic character and delivers the message that being Superman is more than having incredible powers The entire cast is amazing. Superman & LoisI loved the first episode, I watched it on tv with my mom. I really loved how it gave me a bit of Smallville vibes. It’ll be interesting to see how they take the story because right now only one of the twins has powers. I hope they both will eventually have powers like Clark or like they could split the powers between the twins, that’d be neat! So far, so really enjoyable.It’s associated with CW so I keep waiting on it nosediving horribly but, so far, this show just keeps on delivering. The characters are, on the whole, well written. Yes, the one son can be annoying but he’s a teenage boy with anxiety issues and unscripted teenage boys can be annoying without those. They’ve walked a line between giving Clark things to apologise for (if you do that too often he diverges too far from Superman’s image) and parenting from his unique experience. There’s a part in episode 6 where he does what all fathers can be called to do and becomes the outlet his son needs. It’s a wonderful moment and very well played. The production values are as high as I’ve seen in a weekly show since Stargate (allowing for the technology of the day, that show was pretty amazing) - the pacing is good. Well worth 45 minutes to see if it’s your kind of thing..TayupScore: 5/5

Wonderful!I have now watched several episodes of this series. I honestly keep forgetting that I’m watching a DC television series. As has been said, in the past they consistently tended to descend into various levels of political correctness that got in the way of what otherwise could be good storytelling. Not here. It consistently avoids those traps, using excellent script writing, acting and production that doesn’t waste its time going there. Instead, it’s relatable to the human condition in a way that the others fall short on. You can see yourself in the characters and their struggles and that then involves your heart and emotions. Please do not mess with this beautiful formula! It’s absolutely extraordinary! Arguably the best television that DC has ever produced..Fillof GodScore: 5/5
