Grand thank you for the good times!Rick, at this point, has lost all of his interesting qualities; no belching, no barfing or saliva-slurping animations or sounds, in fact that’s the over-the-top characterization that initially made me a fan. Other characters are losing their naughty charm as well All those wildly absurd animation antics combined with a touch of insanity hit me like . . . Magic. Well, season 5, excepting a brief moment or two, is missing the mark. Badly so. Thanks to the creators who clearly worked so hard, but I’ll not finish season 5 and don’t expect to return. P.s. Interesting & Solid Season 5Season 5 is pretty good - maybe not the best season but certainly not a bad season. Some interesting story lines this year that also add to canon and offer new ideas. Last 2 episodes pick up the pace with the family dynamic between Rick & Morty as they seemed to hint at Morty wanting more respect from Rick (or even out) and this adds more to the background of Rick too. Really liked the creative nature of their story telling in each episode but found they tried to sometimes cram too much into each one which made them a bit too fast in pace at times but overall a good season. Worst series yet, and I love Rick and Morty…The two stars are just because the first two episodes weren’t bad. Episode 3 was lame. Episode 4 just a waste of time. Where has the wit gone? Nothing left to admire or sympathise with in any character. The rest of the episodes had better improve or it’s the last series I will buy. DisappointingThis season was very disappointing. The episodes are quite obviously worse in every aspect compared to the previous seasons. There are some incredible episodes in season 4.
