Ignore the bootlickersA stellar closing season to an outstanding series. The writers and actors managed to keep the humor going while at the same time highlighting obvious issues with the profoundly broken policing system in America. Somehow pointing out problems is enough to get some people all worked up to come write a review of the entire season after obviously only watching 10 minutes, during which they were so triggered that they just had to bust out their favorite boogey man “the woke left.” If you enjoyed the earlier seasons, you’ll definitely enjoy this one. Plenty of callbacks and recurring guest stars really make this a sort of victory lap for the show, and a well deserved one..Adamo1237Score: 5/5

Takes four episodes to get o.k.Nothing funny until the fourth episode, not even the intros. The woke campaign is full blast and it ruins the fun. Did not laugh at any of the intros until the fourth episode. Very disappointed. This is the final season and it’s supposed to be the best but it’s not. Don’t listen to the whining!Real fans know that B99 has always been funny and poignant and absolutely willing to address the darkness in our society: racism, police brutality, LGBTQ+ specific issues, and more. This season was no exception, and it shouldn’t have been. Was the season perfect? No. But it was very good across many measures, and dismissing it for spending a few minutes addressing the cruelty and hate in Western culture doesn’t make it “too woke”, “too liberal”, or any other right-wing snowflake nonsense. It’s weird how treating others with kindness, empathy, and equality is so offensive to so many. B99 is not a place for hate, and that’s one of many reasons the show has been so great and so well loved. There’s good, funny stuff in this season. It ended well, and I can’t wait for the box set to come out so I can get my favorite series and watch it always..Alisha DFScore: 5/5
