It’s Getting BoringI don’t know about others, but I am intrigued by the hunt and the ingenuity. Surely the producers can find one place where the contestants are not restricted by “local customs or regulations”. We really are not seeing a true survival situation, where people are free to do whatever it takes to survive. At this point, watching people starve is boring. It would be nice to see a 2 person situation, with no restrictions, maybe a set time limit, last couple standing wins or if there are 3 or more at the end of the time period, they all get judged on the merits of their demonstrated survival skills and they take home a three tiered prize, just like the Olympics. Then you’ll see some creativity. I would say 4 months to create the very best survival camp imaginable would work. And you could do different themes for different seasons: husband & wife, father & son, 2 brothers, all females, mother & son, brother and sister, random pairings, all military or ex-military. And in some of these places, the area is so big, that you could probably film 3 seasons worth in one shot, with husband & wife contestants being in one section, all females in another, 2 brothers in another, etc., making it more economical to produce..Score: 2/5
