Better Deal Than Disks I BoughtIt did entertain me and for the $15 they are asking here. I think it is worth it. The only thing that put me off was the birth scenes. Which were gruesome, repulsive and too many. I bought this on Blu-ray for $42 at Best Buy and when I played it the sound quality was so poor that I couldnât hear what the actors were saying without turning up the volume super high on my TV. Even then it was hard to hear. Plus on top of all that the digital code that came with it was for a service I donât use. So I felt totally ripped off. If youâre going to buy it buy it here..Score: 3/5

I donât understand the hypeI found the whole series long winded and dull as dish water. The characters were superficial and subplots pointless. The acting was decent but the script was rubbish. I wonât be bothering with series 2..Score: 1/5

Very, very dullFelt like a very dull BBC costume drama with lots of strained and pained dialogue about who will inherit this or that, but otherwise aimless. Cast changes also donât help. Felt like animated Tudor waxworks (with the occasional dragon ride thrown in to boost the lack of interest). Better than a certain show on Amazon about a ring of course, but thatâs not saying much. So disappointing after the pace and unpredictability of GoTAll that money⌠all that time⌠where have the good scriptwriters gone? Do the editors not watch back what theyâve written and made? Some great performances by the actors here, but theyve been left high and dry by a half-baked, truly tortuous script⌠go back and read up again on character development and how to get the audience engaged with them.
