While on a survey mission, the U.S.S. Enterprise discovers a comet is going to strike an inhabited planet. The REAL StarTrek is back!Thanks so much for bringing back a truly Roddenberry infused gem. Not since TNG, DS9 and Voyager has there been that good old trekkie feel show. I watched all seasons of Discovery and really enjoyed them, but as a 50 year trekkie, they werenāt really Star Trek to me. I really liked the new Picard show as well, but stillānot the same. This show feels so much like a return to old school Star Trek. The actors are wonderful. They have inhabited their roles so well, that we can really empathize with their characters. And its not just us baby boomers, my kidāin his 30sālikes it better than all recent trek shows as well. I hope theyāll have a lot of seasons, as the characters these amazing actors have brought to life will be cherished as much as Data, 7, No. 1, etc. And the stories are great! The planet that requires a child to run the power was deeply disturbing as well as thought provoking. I love that good ole Roddenberry philosophy that offers the viewer more than mere entertainment and explosions. Well done, congratulations and thank you :).Score: 5/5
