Bad Writing, Worse DialogI watched the episode from Season 1 titled “The Girl in The Refrigerator.” The dialog was preposterous, and the lead character’s speech is so jammed with jargon it’s insufferable. The first scenes feature coworkers in a forensic lab jumping back and for between the work and their interest in each others sex lives (illegal) or where to go for dinner. It’s horrible, cheap writing. In that episode, a girl is found in a refrigerator which was proved to be owned by a couple she had rough sex with. They deny having anything to do with the death! Then it goes to trial with lots of tedious lab-talk about bone density and stress fractures and drugs, but no talk about her being found in the couple’s fridge, which I’d say was rather incriminating. What a mess!.Score: 2/5

I While I am only a 14 year old boy this story facinates me. I loved watching the series on tv, and now i get to watch it on my hand held device (Ipod Touch.) This is an interesting storyline, good plots, well laid out characters, and a little romance between Booth and Dr. Brennan, but also between Angela and Dr. Hodgens later in the story. Booth does not fully believe in the ways of science so I can relate to him, but eventually he accepts Bones, and acnolodges her abilities. When he first meets the "squints" as he calls them, he is, to say the least, disapointed. He thinks that the real solvers of crime are the ones like him, the ones that go into the heart of the action and ask all the questions and help catch the bad guys, he is wrong of course because without the squints, he wouldnt know where to start asking, he would start with a 5 year old, and end up with an 85 year old man with carpal tunnel and altzimers as a suspect to a strangle murder. This is the best show I have ever seen and i look forward to getting every episode on my ipod and watching every one non-stop. If you read this and are trying to decide to watch it or not, please give it a chance, it is a very good show..Score: 5/5

Very SmartThis show has been out there for a while and I never watched it. It was only after I read a Kathy Reichs book that I started watching it. I can't believe this is based on her whole life's work! It's amazing! And forensic anthropology is very interesting. Emily Deschanel & her partner are very good in this show. Amazing!!!!I love bones :) it is an amazing programme and you should definatly buy it if youre into crime investigation or/and forensics :D Like everyone else has said though, the price is really high.... Especially for season three as ive noticed it only has 15 episodes for £24.99 :'( that is too expensive and people would buy it much sooner if it was for around £15 :D!!! With the series with more episodes like season 4, which i think has 26, the price is alright:) but £24.99 for 15 episodes... Its too much :( Anyway Bones is great and I definatly recommend it!!! :D.Score: 5/5
My short reviewI think this is a very bad tv show. I knew it wasn't going to be like the books but I wasn't expecting it to bear no resemblance to even the basics of the Temperance Brennan world. The main character performing martial arts is just plain stupid, as if being a highly intelligent academic and accomplished forensic anthropologist is not quite cool enough. Then the totally unrealistic laboratory with the 3d holographic display thing really just dumbs the whole thing down. I could barely get through the pilot so I am not going to bother watching any more. Some of the dialogue is just painful to listen to and the way they have Tempe Brennan keep saying "i don't know what that means" was just plain awful. If you liked the books you'll probably hate this..Score: 2/5
