Missing segments and generic musicDon’t waste your time with this edition, it’s missing the original music which was often part of the jokes. Likewise, entire segments are missing. Why do I know this? Because I bought the Shout factory DVD which has restored what was missing..Score: 1/5

Too Bad About The MusicI just was listening to an interview with Tim Reid and Tom Dreesen and WKRP was mentioned. Tim mentioned what a shame it was that the show had to be re-edited with fake music because of royalties and licensing fees. That's too bad. I would have purchased the whole season if it was the actual show rather than an interpretation of it. I can relate with many of the posts here. It was a fantastic show and AOR radio was real back then. As a teenager in the '70s in Richmond Va., there was a show on late Saturday nights called "Mellow Madness". The DJ's name was "Ty" and he was very much like Venus Fly Trap. Well, at least talking about the show brings back fond memories. Too bad I won't see it. Anyone know where there are original versions of WKRP to be found?.Score: 1/5

Was excited about buy until I read the reviews..To not present a show (or any form of art) as it was meant to be shown is a travesty. Will not be buying..Score: 1/5

Would Pay Twice the Asking Price if it Had the MusicI'm one of the lucky who have original VHS tapes of the show, that said, I'd like to have them in glorious digital quality... but NOT without the original music. Dear Fox, you MORONS, this is a show, about a radio station, and radio stations play MUSIC!!! Get a clue, it's what made the show. You could make back the royalties you'd have to pay if you grew a set, instead, you're taking one of the most highly regarded and revered shows on TV and you're basically mocking it, and it's fans, and suckering those who maybe didn't read these reviews. Release this properly and I'll pay twice the asking price, and I bet many else would too. As it stands, you're not really offering the show, you're offering a joke..Score: 1/5

Turkeys AwayI first saw Turkeys Away when it was released YEARS ago during the regular series season. I saw it a couple of times after that on replays. It is the single funniest episode I have ever seen for any TV program. I watched it again the other day when I purchased it and was crying by the time it was over..Score: 5/5

Thanks for the heads-up about the music...Hitting the post on James Taylor's Smiling Face as a DJ was one of my life's minor ambitions because I saw Johnny Fever do it on WKRP when I was about 10 years old. This was one of the best sitcoms ever made and to release an edited version without the original music means you are releasing something that I would never purchase. I am dissappointed because I would have downloaded every episode the minute they were released. Release them unedited and you've got another happy customer..Score: 1/5

WKRP in Cincinnati: "Commercial Break"I was very disappointed with the quality of the video; not remastered at all as one would've expected. Addtionally, there are portions of the original episode which have been edited. I remember wll the original series well, and was quite annoyed to see that the episode I purchased was not provided in its entirety..Score: 1/5

A travesty to a great sitcomThis show was about raw rock & roll. Music was central to making this a brilliant sitcom. The music industry wanted to renegotiate their contract for digital rights and thus greed destroys a classic. The great cast still shines but what's the point when generic alt rock is playing in the background? I only bought the pilot (thank god) but I do wonder what they will do for the John Lennon Imagine episode. This is worse than Lucas inserting crappy digital dinosaurs into star wars claiming he wanted them there originally! Please please redo with original music. Screw the greed and come to an agreement to restore the original wonderful, if dated, classic I love..Score: 1/5

Where are the rest of the seasonsAwesome show. Loved it as a kid love it now..Score: 5/5

Classic show, but missing the classic rockThis release of one of the funniest sitcoms of all time is let down by the fact that they couldn't get the rights to the classic rock tunes used in each episode when the show first aired. Those classic tunes were integral to the shows comedy and timing and unfortunately the generic music that has replaced them just doesn't cut it..Score: 3/5
