Super WhyI was surprised that several people didn't like this show. My son, age 3 loves it and my kindergarten students like it. They also like playing the games on PBSkids.org I think it's good because it's clean and it teaches them something. It also holds their interest..Score: 5/5
Mixed FeelingsI’ve got mixed feelings on this TV show. I think it’s kind of silly and a little cringe-worthy at times, but I think your kids will like it when they’re young. The thing I don’t like is that they’re changing the endings of old literature. I am against that, but other than that, it’s very educational for kids. Besides this show, the only thing that would serve as additional education for your kids is to have them read the real stories before watching this show, so that they know the true endings and not believe that the endings in “Super Why!” are the true ones. With all of that being said, it’s educational, your kids will love it, but the endings to me is the only weakness of this TV show..Score: 2/5
Decent Show, Awful ResolutionMy children enjoy Super Why!; however, the iTunes download resolution is pretty bad. Too bad..Score: 4/5

The super readers saved out day.My 19 month son loves this show.... We never let him watch tv but my mother in law watches him twice a week and mentioned that see lets him watch PBS kids and that he becomes so engrossed in Super Why that i figured i would give it a try at home. When my husband was a toddler he didnt talk till almost 4 we were very worried about davie because he has been having trouble talking as well, once i started letting him watch an episode of Super Why a day he has progressed leaps and bounds, her now recognizes and says letters, and is starting to talk more, and enjoys dancing around the room. This show may edit the original stories but it enbodies the spirit of all children's books in that it encourages a love of reading and learning. In this day and age where kids are so addicted to video games and computers how can a show that encourages reading hurt. My son now brings me books constantly for me to read to him and points at the letters on the page and tells me what they are..Score: 5/5
Super Why! Is My Daughter's Favorite! My three-year-old daughter loves Super Why! and the things she is learning from the show are great! She has learned a new alphabet song (not singing the Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star version all the time, but AlphaPig's version, too). She constantly asks us what letter says "t-t-t" or "s-s-s" and can usually answer the questions herself. It is geared for young children and the exposure to letters, rhyming, and sounds seems to be right on track for them. As a primary grade teacher, the word substitution in sentences is my favorite part of the show. Pre-reading skills are so important before Kindergarten and this show is a great source for my daughter. Those who give it one to two stars should look at it in the point of view of young children (especially the ones with spelling and grammar errors in their reviews--they must not have watched close the episodes close enough). Read the fairy tales on your own if you want the exact plot to be followed. The show is about reading, not the fairy tales!.Score: 5/5
My kid knows his ABC's at 16 monthsWe didn't want our child watching t.v. until two but slipped and found Super Why! to be educational and simply for him to understand. He loves, "Why and Pig" and knows his ABC's at 16 months. We sit together and talk through the letters and sing together and he is doing so well because of the time we spend working together on his vocab development and letter recognition. For older kids it might be kind of simplistic but great for smaller kids..Score: 5/5
Super Why RocksI have a 5 year-old, a 2 year-old and a 10 month-old and all of them LOVE Super Why! I actually enjoy it also. It teaches kids to read - and does a good job of it. Because of this show, my 5 yr-old and my 2 yr-old have loved recognizing letters and even writing words! I think the characters are cute and likeable, and I love that all of the characters speak English ALL of the time!!!.Score: 5/5
