Brennan and Booth visit a college campus where human remains are found under the bleachers of a basketball court. Although the body had been crushed beyond recognition underneath the bleachers, a gold "#11" necklace identifies the victim as RJ Manning, the star point guard of the school's nationally ranked basketball team. After reconstructing RJ's skull, the team determines that he was dead before the bleachers crushed him. Brennan and Booth navigate the world of big-time collegiate basketball and interview multiple leads to find out who could possibly have benefited from RJ's demise. After investigating those with the closest ties to RJ, including his faithful girlfriend, his future basketball agent and his replacement on the school's team, Brennan and Booth uncover several different plausible motives for RJ's murder. Later the team discovers that RJ may have been caught up in a rather risqué situation at the time of his death, and they wonder if more than one person could have been involved in his murder. Meanwhile, Hodgins attempts to take his relationship with Angela to the next level, but his courting methods prove to be far less tactful than his scientific ones..

Season started of well, petered out afte that, esp. after strike.The silver skeleton episodes very very good. But the part Zak would up playing sucked. And still sucked. The writers never developed his character will - so I guess they thought he was expendble when for some reason they decided they HAD to gen the season with gormogon. I've rather have found out what happened to the gravedigger. Gormogon would have been a great hold over to season 5. But after the writers strike everything got rushed and was poorly thought out long term for series continuity. Brennan's dad'd trial was a yarn. And bring back either Stephen Fry or the head of the Jeffersonian. The child psychologist is a joke. He just doenst have the experience needed for the job -- or the personality. It's too scattered and Cam is just not keeping it all together well at all. There's not balance any more and plot lines are getting dropped left and right or else so obvious a 4 year old can figure out the bad guy. Only exceptions are gormodon and the gravedigger. And gormodon was over so fast, very unsatisfing..Score: 2/5

WonderfulI am so hooked on this series, I'm having a hard time waiting for the 4th season. Every character has their own unique personality and a story line all their own. I have never bought TV shows before, but this show is so well done, I not only bought this season, but the first two seasons as well. It is worth your time to watch. Kathy Reich is a great writer and I own all her books. It was her books that prompted me to watch the series..Score: 5/5

The Best of the BunchI have watched CSI, NCIS, and others. What sets this show apart is the depth of charecter developement accross many charecters. There is not a "single" star and suporting cast, but every actor carries her or her weight and adds something to the mix. Unlike other one-demtntional shows, this comes accross with great depth. Of course, some of the things that happen are far fetched, but if you are willing to sispend disbelief, this is the best of the lot!.Score: 4/5

AceI was one of these dummies whose been waitin for it on dvd but i gave in to itunes as they got it like 2 months (give or take) before it cames out on dvd. watched the whole lot within 3 days and now am watchin season 4 :D the price is pretty gd when you think about it, its similar to buyin it from a shop..Score: 5/5

Bones Season 3Finally a decent TV programme. I am a massive fan of bones, and like many forensic based shows it has a great cast. The 2 main characters are Booth and Bones played by David Boreanaz and Emily Deschanel. Booth is a fbi agent and Bones as the names suggests is a forensic anthropologist (deals with bones). The rest of the teams come from Angela Montenegro (forensic artist), Dr Jack Hodgins (entomologist), Dr Zack Addy (forensic anthropologist), Dr Camille Sorayan (head of the department) and Dr Sweets (Booth and Bones psycologist). The main storyline for season 3 was the Gormagon serial killer, who after killing his victims likes to eat them. He also liked to take a bone from his victims to replace the silver skeleton posed in a position called "the widows son", (which is known in ancient greek as a sacrifice pose). Booth & Bones also find out that the Gormagon has an apprentice and in the final episode we find that it is a main character who everyone is fond of. If you like shows like CSI then you will love this. Bones Season 3 DVD's will be out on 8/12/08 at £28.99 (hmv.co.uk). Bones season 3 gets 10/10..Score: 5/5

Why so expensive?Great show, bad price. I bought season 1&2on offer but now seasons jumped up to £19.99, that is so expensive for an old series. Not going pay that. If you have already bought lots of series from iTunes there should be some sort of promotion or loyalty advantage..Score: 4/5
