Why compare?This show may be improvized but the outlines are written so well that you can't argue how great the writing actually is. There is no show better than this on television or HBO (since they insist on not being called "television"). Larry David has no idea how great of an actor he is. You can read every expression on his face, because we all relate to Larry. Best episodes here are "Aamco" and "Beloved Aunt" and "Affirmative Action"..Score: 5/5

HBO & Apple made the best possible move!Curb your enthusiasm is quite possibly the smartest comedy in all of TV and its history. Larry David is the funniest man alive. All of the characters from Leon to Suzy make this show a must watch for comedy fans. There's no doubt that this will become a huge hit on iTunes. Season 7 has been recently confirmed by HBO and these seasons could not have come at a better time..Score: 5/5
Great Once You Get Used To ItI didn't discover this show until recently. I have to say initially I found it funny, but not hilarious - until I watched a few more episodes. Now I can't get enough. The style is just so different from regular TV comedy - which is a good thing! - but it takes some getting used to. I also think you have to "get to know" the characters a bit before you can really appreciate the wacky humor. I have definitely turned into a Curb addict though, and recommend it to anyone who appreciates off-beat humor. I do think fair warning that the language is pretty bad and the subject matter is frequently off-color (there are very few of these episodes that I would really want to watch with my mom hehehehe). Highly RecommendedKnow why this show works? Because it relies on tried and true comedy writing techniques...the sort of stuff that made All in the Family a classic and Groucho Marx a comedy genius. Instead of insider humor (the main character is too cool for the world) this relies on outsider humor (the main character, Larry David, is an outsider always trying to fit in.) Throughout history, outsider humor has always won over audiences. Destined to be classics in the field of comedy writing..Score: 5/5

Curb Your Enthusiasm is an amazing show that continues the feeling of Seinfeld with it's ability for fans to relate what Larry David goes through. Laugh, cringe, laugh more, cringe.We've all had those moments when we wondered what would happen if our inner censor "broke". Larry David walks us through the horror of it, and does it in a way that's absolutely hilarious. *very* adult themes - not a show to watch with the kids (or virtually any other relative!!). Yes, I totally agree with all negative reviews of pricing policy!Itunes pricing policy on music, tv shows and films is absolute nonsense! Sort it out iTunes, or many, many customers like myself will just shop around and look elsewhere!!! The supermarkets regularly check out rival prices and respond accordingly (price check?); so why donât you iTunes? Your prices are very often totally ridiculous! I have noticed this all over your music store, tv store and film store! Sort it out iTunes or lose many, many customers! Stop being so greedy. PricingHello all, I simply do not understand why season 1 is priced the same as the current season? Why price all individual eps @ ÂŁ1.89? This is not the most contemporary season? Q: Why should I as a consumer pay top price for a series that has been out for ages? iTunes & HBO need to have a better pricing strategy or people like me will not buy.
