If tiramisu were a TV show...it would be Deadwood.I'm a huge fan of the Western genre, and its never been done as well as Deadwood. Not for 'daisies' or 'dandies', the language is as harsh as you'll EVER hear, and the violence is brutal-and as far from glamorous as it gets. But this is simply the best western TV series ever, for its amazing acting, wonderfully-written and inventively-varied characters, sumptuous sets...the grimey, muddy detail is everywhere! Com'on... $3.00 an episode?!This show was/is amazing. But there is no justification NONE whatsoever for these prices. Unfortunately it's not only HBO, but many networks and production houses that are charging exhorbitant rates for these shows. It's pure greed and don't let them try to tell you otherwise because when the same shows/movies/etc. are being sold at reasonable prices in say China (and I'm referring to legitimate goods) you know that these companies are just gouging the markets whenever and wherever they can. It is really sad and frustrating because as much as I want to support legitimate, high quality programming; when the studios make these type of decisions and start charging these kind of prices I begin to understand why piracy is such a big problem. As a patent attorney, I refuse to buy counterfeit or pirated goods, but i also refuse to be extorted. So thanks HBO for being so greedy, you've just lost a very loyal customer..Score: 5/5
