Incredible. Worth Every PennyThe Wire is by far the most prolific series to ever grace the airwaves. I happened upon it and was hooked immediately. The Wire is truly a beautiful production in all aspects of the series. It's not action packed and it doesn't need to be. It is perfect the way it is, and watching this series will change your life. The only negative? It might just ruin every other series for you. It is THAT good. While all the seasons are worth every penny, Season 4 is my favorite. Compelling characters and a compelling story. Sloooow......!It's good tv but very slow to start and only gets moving around episode 10 or so, tv trick to get you to watch the next season. Save your money after season 3..Score: 3/5

Simply put, this is the best season of any show in the history of television.This season absolutely destroyed my expectations for television. Only Mad Men has come close to the depth of character and flat out drama of this fourth season. I feel like there are no words to describe it, so if you're at all interested in this show, start at the start but keep at it. Eventually you'll hit Season 4 and be blown away by it!.Score: 5/5
